About the application

Apply to be a food truck vendor at our Cinco de Mayo celebration in downtown Decatur and serve hundreds of attendees during this high-energy street festival!

 

This application is for food trucks only. All applicants must have a valid Decatur business license and are required to provide their own generator for power. Vendors will be positioned along 2nd Avenue in the heart of the event footprint, offering excellent visibility and steady foot traffic throughout the evening.

 

We’re looking for a variety of food options to complement the festive atmosphere. Space is limited, so early application is encouraged!

About the event

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in downtown Decatur with a fun-filled street party on 2nd Avenue! Enjoy the crowd-favorite Chihuahua Dog Race, a vibrant low-rider car show, and live music throughout the evening. Sip and savor taco and margarita specials from your favorite downtown spots, explore local vendors, and let the kids play in the Kid Zone. It’s a lively celebration of culture, community, and unforgettable moments—right in the heart of Decatur!

By participating in the Cinco de Mayo event in downtown Decatur, all vendors agree to assume full responsibility for any and all risks, damages, or injuries that may occur to themselves, their staff, equipment, or property during the event.

 

The event organizers, sponsors, the City of Decatur, and all affiliated partners shall not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, loss, theft, or damage of any kind arising from participation in this event.

Vendors are responsible for maintaining a safe operating environment at their designated space and for complying with all local laws, regulations, and permitting requirements. Participation in the event constitutes agreement to these terms.
