July 1st Prelude Food Vendor Application
About the application
Prelude to the Fourth is seeking food vendors for all to enjoy as they experience the annual Prelude to the Fourth event hosted by the City of Lawrenceville.
Prelude to the Fourth is one of three major events for the City of Lawrenceville hosted at the Lawrenceville Lawn. This event is from 5:00 PM - 10 PM; however, vendors will be loading Wednesday morning, and times are to be shared in the load-in information. All vendors must be prepared to greet the public at 4:30 PM. Application approvals for this event will take place on a rolling timeframe and final decisions will be made after applications close.
If your application is approved, you will be charged 24-48 hours after being waitlisted.
Additional load-in information will be emailed on the Wednesday before the event. Prelude to the Fourth is an event that features live music and entertainment throughout the day, so please be aware of that when preparing for the event. If you would like to be considered as one of our vendors for this event, please fill out the application and wait for our Event Coordinators ' approval.

Terms & Conditions
Vendor Criteria: - Vendors must adhere to City Event Safety Guidelines, https://www.downtownlawrencevillega.com/health-and-safety/
- Vendors must provide all necessary equipment for booth space (10x10 tent, table, chairs, etc.)
- Vendors must keep their work areas clean throughout the event
- Vendors must separate cash, and product handling, and ensure regular and proper handwashing
- Vendors must provide hand sanitizer at their booth
- Vendors must remove all items from the Lawrenceville Lawn by midnight following the event.
- We will have an exclusive alcohol vendor on site. All other vendors are not permitted to sell alcohol.
Event Safety Guidelines – Stormwater and Grounds Protection
Vendors are required to secure all grease, waste, and any other materials that could potentially damage event grounds or enter stormwater drains.
In the event of an illicit discharge caused by negligence (e.g., spilled grease or contaminants), the vendor will be responsible for a cleanup fee of up to $1,000. This fee covers materials and labor provided by the Lawrenceville Spill Response Team.
Vendors responsible for such discharges may not be invited back to future City of Lawrenceville events.
