About the application

Artists are invited to apply for Mapped Journeys in Color & Verse, an upcoming exhibition featuring the work of artist Susan Antoinette. This exhibition explores the intersections of movement, memory, emotion, and storytelling through abstraction, color, and poetic expression.

Susan Antoinette’s work serves as the foundation of this exhibition, using vibrant color and lyrical visual language to map personal and collective journeys. In dialogue with her work, we are seeking supporting abstract artists whose practices explore themes of transformation, navigation, inner landscapes, rhythm, and emotional resonance. Works may evoke a sense of place, passage, reflection, or discovery, whether through gesture, color relationships, layered mark-making, or conceptual interpretations of journey and verse.

Artists working in painting, mixed media, drawing, printmaking, and other abstract approaches are encouraged to apply. Submissions should reflect a strong visual voice and connect thoughtfully to the exhibition’s themes of movement, mapping, poetic sensibility, or personal exploration.

This exhibition aims to create a dynamic visual conversation between artists, highlighting how abstraction can function as a language for charting experiences that are both deeply personal and universally felt.

We warmly encourage artists to submit their work and become part of this vibrant exhibition celebrating the expressive power of color, movement, and poetic abstraction.

Please make sure to click "Submit" when you're done filling out the application. You will get an automatic confirmation email from Eventeny once completed.
