About the application
This application is for those who wish to be a vendor at the 2026 Beach Haven Chowder Cook-Off Merchant Mart on Saturday, October 3rd. There are currently no opportunties for additional vendors on Sunday, October 4th.
- Spaces are available in the following categories:
- Apparel & Accessories
- Arts, Crafts, & Homemade Goods
- Home Decor and Furnishings
- Pre-Packaged Food (very limited amount)
- Services
- Spaces are 10x10 each. You MUST stay within the 10x10 space with shoppers accessing your booth area only from the front of the booth space. Booths are lined up directly next to each other, so there will not be space between booths for guests to walk through. You may NOT go out past the 10 feet on any side, including out in front of your space. Vendors may purchase multiple spots to accommodate larger set-ups (up to 3 spaces)
- Spaces will be available both inside our large tent and outside. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. We ask you to please select where you prefer to be placed on the application. No pop-up tents may be opened under the large tent, so if you prefer to have your own tent, please make sure to select that you would like to be outside.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
As a vendor at the 2026 Beach Haven Chowder Cook-Off Merchant Mart on Saturday, October 3, 2026, I agree to the following terms and conditions:
- The Beach Haven Chowder Cook-Off Committee (hereinafter referred to as “The Committee”) has the right to reject any merchandise deemed inappropriate. All goods and items sold should be family friendly.
- No items shall be sold, without written permission from The Committee, that say Beach Haven Chowder Cook-Off.
- The event is “rain or shine”. No refunds will be issued for No-Shows.
- In the event that The Committee is forced to cancel the Merchant Mart due to extreme weather, terrorism or other issues beyond our control, a refund will be issued for the space fee paid only. The Committee will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by the vendor.
- Vendors may not sublet their space. Business name and merchandise must match the registration form and insurance certificate.
- Vendors will be assigned a specific space by The Committee. A vendor Map with set-up instructions will be supplied to all vendors at least 3 days prior to the event.
- All vendors must be set up and ready for the event by 9am on Saturday, October 3, 2026
- Under no circumstances may a vendor breakdown early. The event will conclude on Saturday October 3, 2026 at 5pm. Any vendor who breaks down prior to the 5pm end time will not be permitted to return as a vendor in any future Chowder Cook-Off events.
- Each vendor is required to submit a certificate of insurance naming Beach Haven Chamber of Commerce and Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean, PO Box 1093, Beach Haven, NJ 08008 as additional insured with general liability limits of $2 million aggregate and $1 million each occurrence. In the description, please include the event information as: Beach Haven Chowder Cook-Off, October 2nd- 4th, 2026, Taylor Avenue Waterfront, Beach Haven, NJ 08008.
- Your spot payment along with the certificate of insurance must be submitted to secure your eligibility to participate. No spots will be considered confirmed until payment and certificate of insurance is provided.
- For spaces with electricity, please supply your own heavy duty extension cord compatible with a GFI outlet.
- Plastic Bags and Balloons are not permitted.
- Vehicles will only be permitted on the ground for set-up and break down. We will provide further set up & break down information closer to the event.
- Vendors will only be permitted to set up in the space that has been designated in their assigned space boundaries. They will not block, obstruct or interfere with neighboring vendors. Spaces are 10x10 and vendors may not go outside this space on any side. If a vendor needs more space, they may purchase additional 10x10 spots. Guests will only be able to access the vendor booths from the front. No shopping or entering from the side or behind the space will be permitted.
Prices
| Single booth | $350.00 | Non-refundable | Each space is 10x10. If you would like more than 10x10 feet of space, please purchase 2 or 3 spaces. Guests can only shop from the front of your booth space- not from the sides as spaces are too close to one another. You must stay within the 10x10 space. Beach Haven Chamber Members will receive $50 off your booth. Booths will not be charged until application process is complete and you are accepted as a vendor. If you are a chamber member, we will apply the $50 discount before charging you for the space. |
