About the application

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY.

  • This application is ONLY for Food Booths, Food Trucks, & Food Trailers who wish to be considered for both the Gold Rush Festival (11-4PM) and the Gold Rush Concert (6PM-10PM.) 
  • ONLY 8 FOOD VENDORS WILL BE CHOSEN TO STAY FOR THE CONCERT. 
    • If you choose to stay you are not allowed to leave until the concert is over. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Vendor setup will begin as early as 6AM the morning of the festival. NO vendor will be allowed to setup or enter the perimeter after 8AM.  
  • All food vendors MUST be fully set up and operational by 11AM and remain open until 10PM.
    • This only applies to the food vendors chosen to stay until the concert is over. 
    • If you were not chosen to stay you are allowed to leave at 4PM once the Gold Rush Festival is over. 

About the event

The Gold Rush Festival & Concert is the biggest celebration taking place in Downtown Villa Rica. It celebrates the history of the first Gold Rush with activities throughout the whole day. We kick off the festivities with the Gold Rush 5K Race at 8AM, following by the Gold Rush Parade at 10AM, moving on to the Gold Rush Festival that included up to 80 vendor booths ranging from food, merchandise, to hand-made items + a newly added Kids Zone from 11AM - 4PM. From there we move on to the evening affair - the Gold Rush Concert from 7PM - 10PM. This festival and concert brings over 2,000 people over the course of the day.

Terms & Conditions

FOOD VENDOR REGULATIONS: 

  • A limited number of vendors per category will be chosen.
  • Categories may include but are not limited to:
    • BBQ vendors
    • Any type of non-alcholic specilty drinks
    • Sweet treat vendors
  • Gourmet or non-alcoholic specialty drink vendors will not be allowed to stay for the concert. 
  • NO electricity, tents, tables, or chairs will be provided. Portable, quiet generators are permitted.
  • Canopies may be anchored by cinderblocks or sandbags only. NO ground stakes are permitted.
  • If you are a food trailer you MUST detach from your vehicle.
  • All food booths/food trucks/food trailers MUST SUBMIT a ServSafe/ Food handler Certification with your application.
  • Food vendors MUST supply their own water and generator.
  • ALL proceeds from vendor sales will belong to the vendor. No commissions will be assessed. Vendors are responsible for collecting and paying Georgia sales tax and for reporting earnings to the IRS.
  • Vendors MUST be confined within the area assigned to you. Food Booth spaces will be limited to 10 feet by 10 feet.
  • ALL vendors are responsible for setting up their booths.
  • Food vendors who were accepted for the festival and/or for the concert are NOT allowed to leave at anytime until after the event is over. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • NO vendors or their representatives shall contduct themselves in an offensive or disrespectful manner to anyone from the event staff, volunteers, or to the general public.
    • Failure to follow this rule will result in the cancelation of your application and you will be escorted out by our police officers on duty.
    • This will also result in being banned from participating in any City of Villa Rica events. 
  • ALL vendor booth spaces must be left clear of any paper, packing materials, or any other trash.
    • DO NOT dispose of cartons, packing materials, or other trash anywhere in the downtown or festival area.
    • PLEASE take all trash with you.

2026 FOOD VENDOR FEES:

  • Food Booths, Food Trailers, Food Trucks - $100
  • Food Booths, Food Trailers, Food Trucks will be charged a "fixed" fee of $50 if chosen to stay for the concert. 

IMPORTANT DATES:

March 3 - Applications open
August 3 - Applications close
August 17 - Vendor approval/denial 

Prices

Concert Vending Fee $50.00 Non-refundable ONLY food vendors who were chosen for the concert will be charged this fee. All other vendors will be charged the Food Vending Fee of $100.
