Terms & Conditions
By submitting an application to participate as an instructor in the Downtown Ball Ground Exercise in the Park series, applicants acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Exercise in the Park is a community wellness initiative hosted by the City of Ball Ground. Classes are held outdoors in a public park setting and are open to the general public at no cost to participants unless otherwise stated.
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Instructors will be selected based on program needs, class variety, instructor experience, and overall fit with the series. Downtown Ball Ground reserves the right to limit the number of instructors and class types per season. Approved instructors will be notified with confirmation details.
Instructors may not charge participants directly for classes held as part of this series.
Instructors are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable and professionally qualified to lead their proposed class safely. Instructors are strongly encouraged to carry their own liability insurance. By participating, instructors agree to hold harmless the City of Ball Ground, Downtown Ball Ground, and all affiliated staff, volunteers, and partners from any claims arising from participation in the program.
Classes should begin and end on time. Instructors are responsible for providing any necessary equipment unless otherwise arranged in advance. Music volume, if used, must remain at a reasonable level appropriate for a shared public space.
Classes are weather-dependent. Downtown Ball Ground reserves the right to cancel or postpone classes due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions. Instructors who must cancel should notify Downtown Ball Ground as early as possible.
Instructors are expected to maintain a professional, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Discriminatory, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior will result in immediate removal from the program. Downtown Ball Ground reserves the right to remove an instructor at any time if program standards are not met.
Submission of an application indicates acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Downtown Ball Ground reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time to ensure the safety, success, and integrity of the program.
