About the application
Important: When completing the application, please enter "N/A" in the Business field if you do not have a registered business name.
We are seeking an original "Waterford Scene" image to serve as the face of the 2026 Waterford Fair. The selected artwork (or a featured portion) will be showcased on the Fair booklet cover and across all promotional materials, both print and digital.
Submission Guidelines
- Acceptable Media: Painting, drawing, digital, and mixed media. Color is preferred.
- Eligibility: Entries must have been produced after August 2024.
- Quantity: You may submit up to four (4) entries.
- Format: For initial submission, low-resolution images are acceptable. However, the selected artist must be able to provide a high-resolution digital file or bring the physical piece to Waterford for professional imaging.
Timeline & Recognition
- Deadline: All entries must be submitted by March 31, 2026.
- Selection Notice: The chosen artist will be notified by April 10, 2026.
- Artist Benefit: The selected artist will receive full credit on all platforms. We will also issue a dedicated press release and social media feature highlighting your work and artistic background.

Terms & Conditions
Grant of Permission
If selected, the applicant(s) grants the Waterford Foundation (WF) non-exclusive permission to use the submitted artwork (in whole or in part) for Fair-related promotional materials, both print and digital. This includes, but is not limited to: the Fair booklet cover, posters, website, and social media. This usage remains active for Fair publicity through September 15, 2027.
Artist Benefits & Recognition
- Featured Credit: The artist will receive formal credit in the Fair booklet and a dedicated artist feature on the Fair website.
- Promotion: A short artist bio (provided by the owner) and a link to the artist’s website or social media will be hosted on the Fair website throughout the 2026 season.
- Digital Files: The owner/representative will receive copies of the high-resolution digital images of the piece produced by the WF, if requested.
