Welcome to the application process for the 60th Annual Fell's Point Fun Festival, Baltimore's longest-running community event that draws 50,000+ attendees. We appreciate your interest in our special event!

 

We love to highlight the phenomenal talent of our City's local arts and culture scene by hiring bands and entertainers in a variety of genres to perform at our traditional Baltimore-style street festival!

 

FESTIVAL HOURS:

Friday, October 2: 5-9pm - Friday Night Market

Saturday, October 3, 11am-7pm

Sunday, October 4, 12-5pm

About the event

The Fell's Point Fun Festival began in 1967 as a fundraiser to raise money to fight against a project that would have linked I-83 and I-95 and demolished an extensive area of Fell's Point. Thanks to the initial organizers of this festival our neighborhood fought back and Fell's Point as we know it was saved. Since then, the Annual Fell's Point Fun Festival has grown to cover 6 city blocks in the heart of our beautiful historic, eclectic, and unique neighborhood. The Fell's Point Fun Festival's nonprofit organizer, The Preservation Society, has worked to maintain the 18th and 19th century character of the historic structures within Fell’s Point. The Society operates without cost to the City of Baltimore and it currently maintains many of the buildings as well as runs historic tours of Fell’s Point. The Fell’s Point Fun Festival has grown dramatically over the years and continues to have a large impact in maintaining the historic integrity of Fell’s Point for businesses, residents and visitors.

Terms & Conditions

All applicants must read and agree to the terms and conditions below before submitting their application.

 

  • The Fell's Point Fun Festival will review all submissions and then contact select bands/entertainers to propose a performance date, time and honorarium before accepting your application.
  • As a general guideline, local bands will receive a $750 honorarium for a 1-hour performance. Please do not apply if your band requires significantly more in fees to support your performance.
  • The festival provides a professional SL100 stage, sound system/engineering and basic backline for bands.
  • Performance fees for dance and street theater will be negotiated directly with the artist. 
  • All performances must be radio/family-friendly.
  • Bands/entertainers performing at the festival will receive a LOA that must be singed and returned with a W-9 to perform.
  • Due to the tremendous interest in performing at our event, we are unable to accept every talent submission even though we would love to book everyone! Bands not selected for this year's line-up may be referred to Fell's Point bars & restaurants seeking entertainment for the festival weekend, along with other Citywide festivals and events.
