We’re excited to invite the entire international community of Fayetteville and Cumberland County to be part of the most vibrant, joyful parade of the year - the Parade of Nations!
As one of the signature events of our International Folk Festival, this celebration beautifully showcases the cultures, traditions, and stories that make our community so wonderfully diverse. With more than 30 nations represented, it’s a powerful reminder of how much richer we are together.
We would love for you to join us! You can march with an existing country group or gather friends to start your own to represent your heritage and nationality. Whether your group is long-established or just coming together for the first time, your culture deserves to be seen and celebrated.
Come share your traditions, your pride, and your spirit with the whole community- we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

About the event
Terms & Conditions
In addition to the terms and conditions listed in this application, each accepted parade participant represents The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County and is expected to maintain their professionalism and care for the ARTS. Participants are required to comply with our festival rules/guidelines and reflect our community values.
Accepted participants will receive additional details about festival logistics including parking, parade line up time/location, variety of other questions at a later date.
PARTICIPANTS MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR PARADE PARTICIPATION to ensure the safety and security of all participants and parade attendees.
