Chalktoberfest takes place on the historic Marietta Square, surrounding Glover Park.

The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is proud to present the annual Chalktoberfest, an exciting combination of our annual Chalk Art Festival with our Craft Beer Festival. Enjoy an afternoon watching professional chalk artists transform the streets, sampling craft beers, enjoying live music, browsing art and craft vendors, and savoring delicious food in the heart of the beautiful Marietta Square. Free and family-friendly, Chalktoberfest offers something for everyone. Proceeds benefit the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art and its mission of building community through art.

Terms & Conditions

ACCEPTED FOOD TRUCKS
Licensed food trucks only. Space is limited.

 

Applicants must follow all Health Department regulations and submit a copy of their current permit. The Cobb County Health Department will inspect all approved trucks on the first morning of the event. After acceptance, vendors will receive additional inspection details.

Approved food trucks must also obtain a current Marietta Fire Department permit. The application link will be provided after acceptance.

 

FEES
The food truck rate is $2,300. This fee includes a designated space at the festival along with access to electrical power or a generator if needed. Your logo, with a link to your website, will also be featured on the Chalktoberfest website. We do not charge a percentage of sales.

 

FOOD TRUCK SPACE
The food truck area will be located on Atlanta Street, between Roswell Street and Alexander Street. Spaces are assigned, and power will be provided by event generators.

 

PARKING

Paid parking is available in the City of Marietta parking decks about one block from Marietta Square.
Vehicles are only allowed in the event area during load-in and load-out times.

 

SECURITY
Security will be provided during the event and overnight. However, Chalktoberfest, the City of Marietta, and the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Vendors should remove small or valuable items overnight.

 

SALES TAX
Vendors are responsible for collecting and submitting all sales tax to the Georgia Department of Revenue. Cobb County sales tax is 6%.

 

DEADLINE
Applications will be accepted through August 31, 2026, pending space availability.

FORCE MAJEURE

"Event of Force Majeure" means an event beyond the control of the MCMA or the vendor, that prevents either party from complying with any of its obligations under this contract, including but not limited to: acts of God (such as, but not limited to, fires, explosions, earthquakes, drought, tidal waves and floods); war, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), invasion, act of foreign enemies, mobilization, requisition, or embargo; rebellion, revolution, insurrection, or military or usurped power, or civil war; contamination by radio-activity from any nuclear fuel, or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel, radio-active toxic explosive, or other hazardous properties of any explosive nuclear assembly or nuclear component of such assembly; riot, commotion, strikes, go-slows, lock outs or disorder; an outbreak, epidemic, pandemic, or any other widespread public health crisis; or acts or threats of terrorism. Neither the MCMA nor the vendor shall be considered in breach of this contract to the extent that the performance of their respective obligations is prevented by an Event of Force Majeure that arises. For the purposes of this contract, both MCMA and the vendor agree that neither party will be held responsible for breaching this contract if obligations cannot be met due to the COVID-19 pandemic or any other widespread health crisis requiring government shelter-in-place orders, states of emergency, etc.  

 

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF TERMS

By submitting my application via Eventeny.com, I hereby make my application to participate in the 2026 MCMA Chalktoberfest event at the Marietta Square. I have read, understood, and agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth and other rules as may be established and presented at my acceptance. I release and forever discharge the 2026 MCMA Chalktoberfest, the City of Marietta, Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, its staff, and volunteers, from any responsibility, personal liability, loss, claims, or damages arising out of, or in conjunction with the 2026 MCMA Chalktoberfest event.
