Market Young Entrepreneur Application

Welcome to The Market LHTX Young Entrepreneur Program!
We’re so excited you’re interested in becoming part of The Market LHTX family! This application is for youth ages 6–19 who are interested in participating in our 2026 Young Entrepreneur "YE" Program.

Through our Nonprofit, XXL HOPE, we are passionate about mentoring the next generation of business owners by providing opportunities for hands-on learning, peer-to-peer mentorship, leadership development, and real-world business experience.

Our Young Entrepreneur Program is designed for youth-led businesses. While parents and guardians play an important supporting role, the young entrepreneur should be actively involved in creating, producing and operating the business and be the primary face of the booth.

**Parent or guardian involvement is required for all participants ages 17 and under.

*Fees & What to Expect*
To help support program coordination, mentorship opportunities, educational resources, and administrative costs, we charge a small application fee for our Young Entrepreneur Program.

Application Fee (due at the time of submission): $5

This is the only fee due when submitting your application.

Once the YE is approved:

Young Entrepreneur booth fee: $25 (discount code provided upon approval)
The first Market LHTX event fee is absorbed by the Nonprofit, XXL HOPE or your sponsor for all first-time Young Entrepreneur vendors  This vendor fee is discounted and the balance is paid in either by a Sponsor or our Nonprofit, XXL HOPE. 
All booth fee details, timelines, program expectations, and market policies will be reviewed during your follow-up conversation with The Market LHTX Management Team or the Young Entrepreneur Coordinator.

By submitting an application and participating as a vendor at The Market LHTX events, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Vendor Acceptance
   Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. The Market LHTX reserves the right to approve or deny any vendor application at its sole discretion in order to maintain a balanced and diverse marketplace.
2. Booth Assignment
   Approved vendors will be assigned a booth space by Market Management. Booth locations are determined at the discretion of The Market LHTX and may vary by event. 
3. Payment & Fees
   Young Entreprenuer vendor booth fees are due as instructed upon approval and requires a code which is assigned upon approval. Booth space is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed.  All booth fees are non-refundable, including in cases of vendor cancellation, inclement weather, or unforeseen circumstances beyond The Market LHTX’s control. 
4. Rain or Shine Policy
   All Market LHTX events are held rain or shine unless Market Management determines that conditions pose a safety risk. No refunds or credits will be issued due to weather-related conditions. 
5. Vendor Responsibility
   Vendors are solely responsible for:  Their merchandise, equipment, and personal property, Any transactions conducted during the event, Collecting and remitting any required sales taxes, Compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.  The Market LHTX is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. 
6. Property Damage
   Vendors are responsible for any damage caused to event property, facilities, or grounds within or around their assigned booth space. Vendors agree to reimburse The Market LHTX or the venue for any such damages. 
7. Food Vendor Requirements
   Vendors selling food or consumable products must comply with all Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) regulations and any applicable local health requirements.  Food vendors must possess any required permits or licenses, including a valid Texas Food Handler’s License, and must provide documentation upon request.  Vendors acknowledge that The Market LHTX, its staff, volunteers, venues, and affiliates are not liable for any food-borne illness or injury resulting from products sold by the vendor. 
8. Assumption of Compliance
   Vendors agree that they are operating as independent businesses and are solely responsible for ensuring they meet all legal requirements necessary to sell their products. 
9. Market Discretion
   The Market LHTX reserves the right to remove a vendor from an event, without refund, for failure to comply with market policies, misrepresentation of products, or behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.
10. Communication
    Vendors are responsible for monitoring their email and Eventeny messages for event updates, instructions, and important deadlines.
