About the application

Living history booths are demonstrations of heritage arts for the public. Examples include blacksmithing, sorghum syrup making, textile spinning or weaving, quilt making, antiques displays.

 

Deadlines:

April 15- Previous exhibitors/vendors must complete an application by this date to be elligible for their preferred booth placement.

September 15- Last day to apply.

About the event

The Prater's Mill Country Fair, begun in 1971, is held on the Prater's Mill Historic Site which includes a 1855 grist mill and a 1895 general store. It is a wildly popular, two day event with artisans, food vendors and musicians, attracting several thousand visitors each year.

There is no application fee or booth fee for living history booths.

 

Liability insurance may be required if there is risk to patrons.
