Join us for the Texas Mushroom Festival in Downtown Madisonville, TX on Saturday, October 17th, 2026! This exciting event, typically attracting around 10,000 spectators, is back and better than ever with a few new exciting additions. Located conveniently halfway between Houston and Dallas, just off Interstate 45, Madisonville is a vibrant and ever-growing community, perfect for a day of fun and festivities. Highlights of the Texas Mushroom Festival: ~ Taste of Texas Tent: Enjoy beer and wine tastings and live entertainment. ~ Auto Showcase: Featuring a variety of awards across different categories. ~ 150+ Vendors on the Square: Explore a wide array of products and services from local and afar vendors. ~ Portabella Park: A kids' zone packed with fun activities, including a petting zoo. ~ Silent Auction: Bid on items generously donated by local businesses. ~ Photo Contest: Enter for a chance to win exciting prizes in our amateur photography competition. ~ Quilt Show: Quilts showcased by a local quilting club. Terms & Conditions

Important Information & Policies:

  1. Vendors selling pre-packaged or shelf-stable items not intended for immediate consumption (examples: bread, baked goods, jams, sauces, honey, candies, spice blends, etc.) should apply under the General Vendor Application.
  2. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. TMF has the sole authority to select or reject vendors. TMF reserves the right to reject any vendor application or item deemed unsafe or inappropriate, including inappropriate for family viewing. These include but are not limited to items such as air soft guns or other items which release a projectile.
  3. Booths must be kept clean, and vendors are responsible for cleaning their area after the event.
  4. TMF reserves the right to inspect booths at any time during the festival to ensure compliance. Security personnel will be on site to enforce policies.
  5. TMF will assign spaces and a set up schedule. All vendors are expected to adhere to those assignments and set up schedule.
  6. Electricity and water are NOT provided. Bring a generator if you need electricity.
  7. If you are exempt from sales tax liability, you must provide documentation. Otherwise, you must have a Texas Sales and Use Tax Permit. You are solely responsible for reporting and payment of applicable sales and use taxes.
  8. All food vendors must present a State of Texas Health Permit AND obtain a Madison County Temporary Food Establishment Permit. Contact Lynn Jefferies at (936) 349-5640 to apply for the Madison County permit.
  9. Cancellations after September 1, 2025, will not be refunded. This is an outdoor event. There are no refunds for inclement weather.
  10. Organizations identifying as a non-profit may indicate by selecting the non-profit option within the vendor application. A limited number of discounted vendor spaces may be available for qualifying non-profit organizations. Requests will be reviewed by the Texas Mushroom Festival Committee, and approval for any discounted space will be granted at the Committee’s sole discretion. Selection of the non-profit option does not guarantee eligibility or approval for a discounted vendor space.
  11. Late applications (after October 4, 2025) will be subject to a $25 late fee.
  12. Vendor Setup Schedule:
    -A staggered set-up schedule is used to minimize congestion. Times are assigned according to location of assigned space.
    -Support vehicles must leave the vendor area after unloading and cannot remain in front of booths during set-up.
    -Booths must be ready by 9:30 AM and remain set up until the festival ends at 5:00 PM. No breakdown before 5:00 PM.
    -No vehicle traffic will be allowed on festival grounds between 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Liability Release and Indemnification Agreement:

You must read and agree to our Liability Release and Indemnification Agreement prior to application submittal and acceptance.

10x10 Booth (Regular) $100.00 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep. IF you are a truck/trailer you will need the number of booths it takes to fit your truck/trailer in, including the tongue. EX: 14ft trailer = (2) 10x10 booths OR 22ft trailer = (3) 10x10 booths
