Security Deposit $100.00 SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE CHARGED ON 09/15/2026 Sorghum in the Mountains is a festival with longstanding history and takes pride in its reputation. In recent years, we have noticed vendors packing up and leaving before the festival and concluded. This makes for upset visitors and festival spectators. In our efforts of continuing to create a festival that everyone wants to attend year over year, we have implemented a one-time, refundable* security deposit. This security deposit will be held by the Sorghum in the Mountains Committee through the duration of the festival. This fee can/will be refunded to you once the event has concluded IF you stay the entirety of your designated time at our festival. Below is the list of reasons why a Vendor would NOT be refunded their security deposit: 1. No show for scheduled festival days 2. Opening late (after festival has begun) OR closing early (before festival has concluded for the day) 3. Packing up and vacating the festival grounds prior to conclusion 4. Inappropriate behavior, which will be deemed as such by the Committee 5. Breaking local, state or federal law while at, or participating in, the festival. 6. Any other acts that the Committee deems as unruly or inappropriate, or that may cause harm to the public, other vendors, volunteers, committee, or self.
