About the application
This category includes vendors operating from a food truck, trailer, or tent who prepare and sell made‑to‑order meals, hot foods, beverages, or ready‑to‑eat snacks.
Requirements:
- Compliance with Berrien County Health Department regulations and required permits and must pass on-site, day-of inspections by the health department.
- Appropriate fire safety equipment required.
- Electricity access may be available; vendors must list equipment and voltage needs.
- Trucks/trailers will be collocated in a "food court" setting.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
By submitting this application, the vendor acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
1. Cancellation & No‑Show Policy
Vendor participation is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and approval by event organizers.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date are not eligible for a refund.
Vendors who fail to appear on the day of the event (“no‑show”) forfeit their booth space and all fees paid.
Event organizers reserve the right to reassign or fill forfeited spaces at their discretion.
2. Hold Harmless & Indemnification
The vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the event organizers, the host municipality, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliated partners from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
- the vendor’s participation in the event,
- the vendor’s products, equipment, or displays,
- any actions or omissions of the vendor or their representatives.
- This includes, but is not limited to, claims related to personal injury, property damage, theft, or loss occurring before, during, or after the event.
3. Vendor Insurance Requirements
Vendors are responsible for carrying their own general liability insurance that covers their participation in the event.
Proof of insurance may be requested by event organizers at any time prior to or during the event.
Vendors assume full responsibility for the safety and security of their merchandise, equipment, and personal property.
4. Booth Space & Compliance
Vendors must operate within their assigned booth footprint and comply with all event rules, local regulations, and safety requirements.
Event organizers reserve the right to remove any vendor who fails to comply with these terms, without refund.
5. Photo and Media Release
The vendor grants the event organizers permission to photograph, record, and capture video or audio of their booth, products, signage, and representatives during the event.
The vendor authorizes the use of such images and recordings for promotional, marketing, archival, and public relations purposes in any media format, without compensation.
The vendor waives any right to inspect or approve the final materials and releases the event organizers from any claims arising from the use of such media.
I attest and certify that I/we have full and legal authority to bind myself/ourselves and the organization or business for which I sign to this agreement.
