Welcome to the Hot Corner Festival 2026! We are excited to announce that the festival will be a three-day event, culminating with the main festival celebration on June 13th!  We appreciate your interest and participation. This is the Performer/Entertainer/Artist Application, intended for individuals or groups offering live entertainment, performances, or artistic demonstrations during the festival.

Please review the available application materials carefully and feel free to reach out with any questions. This agreement is completed electronically, and by proceeding, you acknowledge, validate, and approve the terms of this agreement in electronic form.

Performer / Entertainer / Artist Terms & Conditions

1. Application & Approval
   All performers, entertainers, and artists must submit a completed application by the stated deadline. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. The Festival Committee reserves the right to approve or deny applications based on performance type, suitability, schedule, and space availability.
2. Definition of Performer / Artist
   A performer, entertainer, or artist is defined as an individual or group providing live entertainment, artistic demonstrations, or performances during the festival. This includes, but is not limited to, musicians, dancers, spoken word artists, visual artists, painters, sculptors, and live demonstrators.
3. Fees & Payment
   Any participation fees, if applicable, must be paid in full by the designated deadline to secure a performance slot or booth space. Fees are non-refundable unless the festival is canceled by the organizers.
4. Performance Schedule
   Performance times, locations, and durations will be assigned by the Festival Committee. Performers must arrive at their scheduled time and be ready to perform as assigned. Late arrivals or missed performances may result in removal from the schedule without refund.
5. Setup & Breakdown.                                                                                          Performers are responsible for timely setup and removal of their equipment, props, or art displays. Early breakdown or departure without prior approval is not permitted.
6. Equipment & Technical RequirementsPerformers must provide their own instruments, props, or equipment unless otherwise specified. Any technical requirements (electricity, sound system, lighting, etc.) must be submitted in advance and approved by the festival organizers. The festival is not responsible for technical failures or equipment malfunctions.
7. Health, Safety & Compliance
   Performers must adhere to all safety regulations and city ordinances. This includes stage safety, fire codes, and public safety measures. Performers are responsible for maintaining a safe area for themselves and the audience.
8. Insurance & Liability
   Performers may be required to provide proof of general liability insurance. All performers agree to indemnify and hold harmless the festival, its organizers, sponsors, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their participation.
9. Behavior & Conduct
   All performers are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Disorderly, unsafe, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate removal from the festival without refund.
10. Merchandise Sales (if applicable)
    Performers wishing to sell merchandise during the festival must disclose it on the application and comply with all festival rules and local regulations. The Festival Committee reserves the right to limit or prohibit merchandise sales.
11. Weather Policy
    The festival will take place rain or shine. Performers are responsible for protecting their equipment and artwork from weather-related conditions.
12. Recording & Media Release
    By participating in the festival, performers grant the Hot Corner Festival and the Hot Corner Association permission to photograph, record, and use images or videos of their performance for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
13. Cancellations & No-Shows
    Performers who fail to attend or cancel after the deadline forfeit any fees or deposits, unless otherwise approved by the Festival Committee.

By submitting an electronic application, performers acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to these terms and conditions and accept this agreement electronically.
