About the application
Thank you for your interest in being a featured food vendor at the National Asparagus Festival, attended by over 2,000 visitors annually. The festival will accept food vendors until the event is full. This is the application; it does not guarantee acceptance. You will be notified of your status within 1-14 business days of us receiving the completed application. Once accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter asking for proof of insurance and payment of a non-refundable booth fee of $100. Following receipt of those items, you will receive a participant packet with set-up information. Vendors must be able to accommodate large festival numbers and are not allowed to tear down before 5:30 PM on Saturday.

WHAT WE PROVIDE: Electricity and water are provided upon request. Dumpsters are also available for your convenience.
MENU/SIGNAGE: Please provide your menu items on the application; we do not want to have vendors selling the same primary items so it is not guaranteed that you will be able to offer your entire menu. Menu Display Boards with pricing using a minimum of 1” bold lettering (visible from 10’ away) are required and must always be visible.
INSURANCE/HEALTH DEPARTMENT: Proof of liability insurance is required to be submitted once your application has been accepted. Local and state health codes must be adhered to. For more information contact District Health Department #10 at (231) 873-2193.
GREASE/TRASH: No grease or gray water is to be poured onto the ground or down any drains. Anyone found doing this will be asked to leave the event. You are responsible for any & all environmental cleanup costs. Vendors are responsible for properly bagging trash within your sales location.
WATER: Please bring appropriate hoses, hose connections, & transport buckets.
ELECTRIC: Please clearly list your electrical needs on the application. Electrical needs not specifically stated on application are not guaranteed. You are required to provide 30/50/100 amp extension cords. 110, 30amps, 50amps available. Damage caused to electrical equipment by unauthorized vendors will be held liable for the cost of repairs.
Additional or special electrical need requested on-site may result in additional fees.

I further understand that National Asparagus Festival and representatives of are not responsible for or liable for damages. I understand that there are no refunds or rain checks due to inclement weather. The Festival reserves all rights to refuse booth space. The undersigned agrees to indemnity and holds harmless the National Asparagus Festival and/or building owners and tenants of the Festival of any/all liabilities.
