About the application
The Thomaston Food Truck Court is located on N. Center Street between the Piggly Wiggly Shopping Center and United Bank. The Thomaston Food Truck Court will operate Monday-Sunday from 8am-9pm.
*Please note that the Thomaston Food Truck Court is closed on festival dates including Art & Soul Fest- third weekend of April, Freedom Fest- July 4th, Mule Days- third Saturday of October, Christmas Lane Market- first Saturday of December, and Christmas Parade- Friday before Christmas
About the event
Terms & Conditions
- Spaces will be clearly marked. Each Space is 35' x 22' Setup at your own discretion, but it may not exceed the listed parameters
- Permit fee is $50 for 1 day, $100 per weekend (Th-Sat), $150 per week (Mon-Sun)
- City of Thomaston Vendor Permit Holders permit fee is $0. Vendor Permit is $500 Annually.
- Food Trucks may begin serving at 8am
- Food Trucks must stop serving at 9pm and vacate the property no later than 10pm.
- All Signage must abide by the City of Thomaston Sign Ordinance
- No Parking for Food Truck Staff within the Food Truck Court Public Spaces.
- All Food Truck Vendors must upload required documentation below:
- Base of Operation Permit
- Base of Operation Inspection Report
- Mobile Unit Permit
- Mobile Unit Inspection Report
- Upson County Authorization to Operate (Only applicable to out of county food trucks)
- Fire Inspection Report from Thomaston Fire Department
- Receipt - Annual / Authorization Environmental Health Service Permit from the Upson County Health Department
- Business License / Occupational Tax Certificate Upson County
- Food Truck Owners are responsible to clean up and dispose of any and all garbage associated with individual food truck operations
- Food Truck Owners are responsible for any materials, paper products, food items, and serving ware associated with normal daily sales
- Food Truck Areas must be kept clean, organized, presentable, free of trash, and up to City of Thomaston Code.
- Sales of articles other than food & beverages shall be prohibited
- No LED Strip lighting shall be used
