Be part of the Mountaineer Brewfest experience as an official food vendor! Gain exposure at one of West Virginia's top craft beer festivals, serving your artisan food to thousands of attendees. Applications are open now - secure your spot today. Only 8 Food Vendor Sites are available, a $100 Deposit holds your site, and your deposit will be returned to you the day of the event.

About the event

The 12th Mountaineer Brewfest , brought to you by Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack, is a celebration of West Virginia’s finest craft and microbrews, will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the Heritage Port in Wheeling, WV. Enjoy craft beer from the best breweries in West Virginia, local artisan food, and great entertainment! And the Mountaineer Brewfest has raised over $320,000 to date for local charities thru festival proceeds! Early Bird tickets on sale June 1st thru July 31st, prices increase starting August 1st! Only 2200 general admission tickets and 200 VIP tickets will be sold. General admission includes 10 samples, commemorative mug, and great entertainment. In addition to the general admission items, the VIP ticket features early festival entrance (3:00pm), special VIP only beers, special entertainment, a food voucher, 10 additional samples, and a commemorative VIP item. The "VIP + Thursday" ticket also includes an invitation to our Thursday beer & food pairing at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack. Designated Driver tickets are available for both GA and VIP. The Mountaineer Brewfest additionally features a Beer Garden with additional craft beers for purchase, local artisan food for purchase, and the best in entertainment! The festival hours are VIP entry 3:00pm, General Admission entry at 4:00pm, the festival ends at 10:00pm. This is a rain or shine event.

Terms & Conditions

Mountaineer Brewfest Vendor Rules of Participation:

  • Only WV Registered and Insured Food Vendors may participate in the Mountaineer Brewfest
  • There are no site fees for participating as a Food Vendor in the Mountaineer Brewfest.
  • Access for Four of your team members, your team will not receive festival entitlements.
    • Vendors must check in at Main festival to receive lanyard, lanyards must be worn at all times
    • All vendor team members must be 21 years of age with valid ID
  • All vendors will honor “Mountaineer Brewfest Meal Vouchers” for our VIP patrons (a $12 value).
    • Vouchers will be redeemed by the Mountaineer Brewfest for $8 per voucher at the end of the festival.
  • Set up Friday August 14th after 6pm & Saturday August 15th 8am-12pm
    • Vendors must be in place before 12pm Saturday August 15th or will not be permitted to participate
    • Vendor must be completely set up for the event by 2pm Saturday August 15th .
    • Tear down must be complete by Sunday August 16th at 12pm.
  • Vendor must provide uploaded proof of insurance upon registration
  • Vendor must display all food prices at their site on the day of festival
  • As a result of the high cost of media advertising for this event, any cancellation after July 1st will result in forfeiture of your deposit
  • Vendor must have and display on the day of the festival a current WHEELING-OHIO COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOOD SERVICE PERMIT, a CITY OF WHEELING BUSINESS LICENSE, and a WV BUSINESS REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE.
  • TIPS: Any tips being collected for your employees during the event must have your jars clearly identified as “For Employees”. Any tips jar not labeled as “For Employees” will be assumed to be donations to the Mountaineer Brewfest charity.
  • VENDOR is required to keep at least one attendant in his/her booth during all festival hours.
  • SITES will be assigned on Water Street in the order in which an application is received (unless availability of Heritage Port 220 electric connections prohibit otherwise)

  • Applications may be Withdrawn before July 1st by reaching out to the Event Organizer

Prices

Mountaineer Brewfest Food Vendor Site Fee $100.00 A $100 reservation fee will hold your site for the festival, this reservation fee will be returned to you on the day of the festival unless you have chosen to donate your deposit to our charity.
