- All food vendors must have adequate fire extinguishing equipment at their booth with current certification tags attached and ready for inspection by the Fire Marshal, including a Class K extinguisher if fryers are being utilized. Although not required, we suggest and request that all other vendors also have fire extinguishing equipment available at all times.
- Vendors must properly dispose of grease during the event in the appointed grease disposal unit. Any vendor not properly disposing of grease will be asked to shut down operations and leave at the end of that day of the event.
- You must ensure that the area around your food truck/trailer is free of grease at all times.
- You may only serve items submitted on your application and approved for the event. You must attach your proposed menu with this application. A menu of all items for sale along with prices must be visible to the public.
- Food vendors are to serve food, water, and soda only. NO ALCOHOL
- Electricity, water and internet services are not available within the Nautical Flea Market. Whisper/Quiet generators are permitted.
- NO pets are permitted in the Nautical Flea Market.
- Nautical Flea Market Event is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be given.
- Clean Up: Vendor is obligated to clean up their allocated space and removed any and all articles placed on the ground, waste products, merchandise and debris from such area. Oil and fuel containers must be disposed of properly. Vendors must vacate space by 9 pm on Sunday, September 18h. Event Committee reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee to vendors that do not comply.
- Vendors & guests are not allowed to bring beer or alcoholic products; all coolers & bags are subject to inspection.
RELEASE & INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT: The undersigned in consideration of the Nautical Flea Market and the City of Madeira Beach providing us with space for sale of our various nautical goods, and other valuable consideration, do hereby release the Nautical Flea Market, the City of Madeira Beach, and any other of their members, employees, agents, or volunteers from any liability for the loss or damage of work, personal injuries or property damage. Further in consideration of the above, the undersigned does hold harmless and agree to indemnify the Nautical Flea Market, the City of Madeira Beach and any of their members, employees, agents, or volunteers for any damages, attorney fees, or costs for any legal actions resulting from any claim made in which they, their members, employees, agents, or volunteers are made parties defendant. The release and indemnification agreement applies for the duration of the Nautical Flea Market scheduled for the 16th through the 18th day of April 2022, and to any claims made within the application statute of limitations for loss occurring during that period of time. By applying for this event you agree to the terms and conditions of the Madeira Beach Nautical Flea Market.
