Viking Faire Performer Application – Description
Bring the Viking age to life through your talent! We are seeking performers who can entertain and engage guests with acts inspired by Norse culture and the medieval era. Suitable performances include music, storytelling, reenactments, combat demonstrations, dance, historical lectures, and interactive shows that reflect the spirit of the Viking world.
Performer Requirements:
Performers should embrace the Viking theme in costume, presentation, and spirit. All acts must be family-friendly and suitable for a festival environment. Sound or staging needs should be noted in advance. Limited performance slots are available, and selections will be made based on quality, authenticity, and audience appeal.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
1. Application and Acceptance
Submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance as a vendor.
The event organizer reserves the right to approve or deny any application without explanation.
Vendors will be notified of acceptance and provided further event details.
Vendors will need to hide any modern parts of tents and expected to be in period appropriate garb. photos of tents and attire will need to be submited via email to email listed below.

2. Fees and Payments
Vendor fees are due in full by the date specified in the vendor packet or acceptance email.
Fees are non-refundable within 30 days of the event, unless the event is canceled by the organizer.
Late payments may result in forfeiture of vendor space.
3. Booth Setup and Operation
Vendors must arrive and set up during designated setup hours.
Booths must remain open and staffed for the full duration of the event.
Vendors are responsible for keeping their area clean and removing all trash at teardown.
No early teardown without prior approval from the event coordinator.
4. Products and Sales
All products or services offered must be approved in advance by the event organizer.
Vendors are responsible for compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws (including sales tax collection, food permits, etc.).
No illegal, offensive, or unsafe materials may be displayed or sold.
5. Liability and Insurance
Vendors assume all liability for their products, services, and property.
The event organizer, venue, and sponsors are not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or injury.
Vendors need to carry their own liability insurance. Proof of insurance will be requested.

6. Conduct
Vendors and their staff must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.
7. Cancellations and Weather
The event will proceed rain or shine unless otherwise announced.
In the event of extreme weather or other emergencies, the organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the event.
Refunds are not guaranteed in cases of weather-related cancellation.
8. Agreement
By submitting this application, the vendor agrees to abide by all terms and conditions stated above. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event and forfeiture of fees.
