IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Art on the Square is a fine art show hosted by Cornell Art Museum on the front lawn and West Swinton lawn. This is a wonderful opportunity for an artist to showcase their work in a professional fine art show. The artist's work will be shown in a prominent, high-visibility location within the show. Selected artist will gain valuable exposure and present their work in a juried setting designed to highlight creativity and talent, free of charge.
EVENT DATE & TIMES:
Saturday, March 28, 2026 - 10am to 5pm
Sunday, March 29, 2026 - 10am to 4pm
APPLICATION DEADLINE: February 1, 2026
ACCEPTANCE: Artists will be notified via email of acceptance by February 13, 2026
ARTIST PARKING: Delray Beach City Hall, 100 NW 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, 33444
VISITOR PARKING: Parking in the Old School Square Garage and in designated metered spaces in Downtown Delray Beach through the Delray Beach Park Mobile system (Read the signs!).
LIABILITY INSURANCE: Artist/Vendor must provide a certificate of general liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 coverage. Cost of insurance to the selected artist will be reimbursed, as this is a free oportunity for the artist. Certificate of Insurance can be purchased inexpensively through ACT Insurance and must name the following as additionally insured:
Downtown Development Authority, 350 SE 1st Street, Delray Beach, FL 33483
AND
City of Delray Beach, 100 NW 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444
GENERAL RULES and REGULATIONS:
- NO CBD Products / Delta 8 Products of any kind permitted at Downtown Development Authority events.
- Artists will receive a site map with designated booth location and load in directions one week prior to event.
- Artists must be ready for load in on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 10am to 5pm.
- Emerging artist will be provided with a 10x10 WHITE artist tent, hanging pro-panels and table, chair (Free of Charge).
- Emerging artist must provide their own displays and signage.
- Artists are responsible for the collection, payment, and reporting of their own sales tax.
- You and your area must remain neat, clean and kept in an orderly fashion. Exhibits and displays must be contained within booth space. Conduct and displays must be appropriate.
- Someone from your staff must manage the booth before, during and through breakdown.
- Artists booths must be set up and ready by 9:00 am on Saturday, March 28 since Art Show begins at 10:00 am sharp. Artist Breakfast available at 9:00 am.
- Take down will begin on Sunday, March 29 at 4pm (NOT BEFORE) and be complete by 7pm.
SECURITY: The Cornell Art Museum through the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) provides overnight security for this Fine Art Show; however, Artists are responsible for all valuables and items in your booth. DDA is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items.
NO SHOW POLICY: Artists who have not notified Event Staff of absence will be considered a NO SHOW.

Terms & Conditions
By completing this application, Exhibitor shall indemnify, defend and save harmless to the extent of its insurance coverage, the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and its member entities which consist of the City of Delray Beach (CITY); Business agrees to defend, indemnify and save harmless the Indemnitees, their officers, agents and employees, against any liability arising from or based upon the violation of any federal, state, county or city laws, by-laws, ordinances or regulations, including but not limited Trademark and Copyright Laws by the Contractor, his subcontractors, agents, servants or employees. Business further agrees to defend, indemnify and save harmless the Indemnitees, their officers, agents, or employees from all such claims, fees, and from any and all suits and actions for every name and description that may be brought against the Indemnitees or their officers, agents or employees on account of any claims, fees, royalties, or costs for any invention or patent, and from any and all suits and actions that may be brought against the Indemnitees, their officers, agents or employees for the infringement of any and all patents or patent rights claimed by any person, firm, or corporation.
The indemnification provided above shall obligate the Business to defend, at his/her own expense or to provide for such defense, at the Indemnitees' option, any and all claims or liability and all suits and actions of every name and description that may be brought against the Indemnitees, their officers, agents, or employees which may result from the operations and activities under this Contract whether the work be performed by the Business, his/her subcontractor or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by either. This Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement include all costs and fees including attorney's fees and costs at trial and appellate levels.
