The Sunday Market on Elm — Vendor Application

Join our community of small businesses on Elm Street at Surprise City Center! We’re looking for makers, artisans, growers, food vendors, and unique small businesses to help create a welcoming Sunday shopping experience.

Vendor spaces are $30 per Sunday for a 10×10 booth. This fee covers the space only. Vendors must provide their own tents, appropriate tent weights, tables, chairs, displays, and all other setup supplies.

Please complete the application below with your business information, product details, and preferred market dates. Applications are reviewed based on available space and vendor variety. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. You’ll receive an update with your application status and next steps.

By submitting a vendor application, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Application and Acceptance
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance or a vendor space. Applications are reviewed based on available space, product variety, event needs, and overall market fit. The market organizers reserve the right to approve or decline any application without providing a reason.

2. Vendor Fees
Vendor spaces are $30 per Sunday for a 10×10 booth. The fee covers the assigned booth space only. Vendors are responsible for providing their own tent, appropriate tent weights, tables, chairs, displays, signage, lighting, and other necessary supplies. Fees must be paid by the deadline provided by the market organizers.

3. Booth Requirements
Vendors must keep their booth clean, safe, professional, and within the assigned space. Tents must be properly secured with appropriate weights. Vendors may not block walkways, neighboring booths, entrances, exits, or emergency access areas. The market organizers may require vendors to adjust or remove any setup that creates a safety concern.

4. Products and Sales
Vendors may sell only the products approved in their application. Any changes to product offerings must be approved in advance. Vendors are responsible for accurately representing their products and for complying with all applicable federal, state, county, and city laws, regulations, permits, licenses, labeling requirements, and health and safety standards.

5. Food and Regulated Products
Food vendors and vendors selling regulated products are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required permits, licenses, inspections, certifications, insurance, and approvals. Vendors must provide documentation upon request. The market organizers may prohibit the sale of any product that does not meet applicable requirements.

6. Taxes and Business Responsibilities
Vendors are solely responsible for collecting and paying all applicable sales taxes, fees, and other governmental charges. Vendors are also responsible for their own business registration, insurance, employees, equipment, inventory, and financial obligations.

7. Setup and Breakdown
Vendors must arrive during the designated setup period and remain set up for the full market hours unless otherwise approved. Vendors may not begin breakdown early without permission. All merchandise, trash, equipment, and personal belongings must be removed at the end of the event. Vendors must leave their space clean and undamaged.

8. Cancellations and Refunds
Vendor fees are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated in writing by the market organizers. If a vendor must cancel, they should notify the organizers as soon as possible. The market organizers may cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify the market due to weather, emergencies, safety concerns, low participation, venue restrictions, or other circumstances beyond their control. Any refund or credit will be determined by the market organizers.

9. Weather and Emergencies
Vendors participate at their own risk and are responsible for protecting their people, products, equipment, and property from weather and other conditions. The market organizers may suspend or end the event if conditions become unsafe. Vendors must follow all instructions from market organizers, venue personnel, and emergency officials.

10. Conduct
Vendors must act professionally and respectfully toward customers, other vendors, organizers, venue personnel, and the surrounding community. Harassment, discrimination, threats, disruptive behavior, illegal activity, excessive noise, and conduct that negatively affects the market are prohibited.

11. Damage, Loss, and Liability
Vendors are responsible for their own property, merchandise, equipment, employees, representatives, and guests. The market organizers, venue owners, and their respective employees, agents, and representatives are not responsible for theft, loss, damage, injury, or other claims arising from a vendor’s participation, except where prohibited by law. Vendors agree to be responsible for claims, damages, losses, or expenses resulting from their acts, omissions, products, equipment, or violation of these terms.

12. Photography and Promotion
By participating in the market, vendors grant permission for the market organizers to photograph or record their booth, products, representatives, and activities for promotional, advertising, social media, website, and other market-related purposes without compensation.

13. Removal from the Market
The market organizers may deny participation, revoke acceptance, relocate a booth, or remove a vendor from the market for violating these terms, failing to meet legal or safety requirements, misrepresenting products, engaging in inappropriate conduct, or creating a risk to the market or its participants. No refund is guaranteed in such circumstances.

14. Changes to Terms
The market organizers may update these terms and conditions as needed. Vendors will be notified of material changes when reasonably possible. Continued participation in the market constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Acknowledgment
By submitting an application and participating in The Sunday Market on Elm, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these terms and conditions. You also confirm that the information provided in your application is accurate and complete.
