Welcome to the magical world of the Connecticut Renaissance Faire! We’re thrilled you’re considering joining us as a merchant for our annual outdoor event. As a recreation of an old-world fall faire, our event is a truly unique experience that transports visitors back in time to a world of enchantment and wonder. We seek artisans, crafters, and merchants like you to showcase and sell your one-of-a-kind, handcrafted wares at our event. With our themed environment and enthusiastic attendees, you can expect to see fantastic results for your business.


Even if this is your first time participating in a themed event, don’t worry! Our team is here to support you every step of the way. We’re happy to guide you through the process and ensure your positive and successful experience with us.


Once you join us for your first season, you’ll wonder why you didn’t join us sooner. With our passionate community of vendors and visitors alike, the Connecticut Renaissance Faire is more than just an event – it’s an unforgettable journey into the past.

Terms & Conditions

STOP and READ THIS: Please understand that you MUST use the attached List of Sellable Wares document provided. Do not use your own hand written note paper, a screen shot of your product list from your website or anything OTHER than the provided form. Download it, fill it out and then upload it to Question 21 of this application (Please note: not the insurance question)

 

Payment and Pricing:
The merchant must pay the booth fee in advance to secure the booth for the duration of the event.   The fee schedule is as follows:  for applications received 

if paid before leaving site on Oct 19 - $4.00/sq ft
Oct 20 thru Oct 31 - $4.50/sq ft
Nov 1 thru Jan 31 - $4.75/sq ft 
Feb 1 thru May 31 -  $5.00/sq ft
Hard Booth Vendors: there is a $350 fee per 9x9 space in addition to vendor fees to rent a hard booth. 

New vendors may be eligible for special discounted rates. Please contact us for more details.  


GUEST & FOOD vendors do not use this application. Please fill out the guest or food vendor application.  

 

Invoices not paid within 30 days after date they are sent will incur a late fee of $0.25 per sq foot for every 30 day cycle they are late* OR your vendor application may be cancelled to allow for a new merchant to take the space.The merchant must pay any taxes and fees required by local or state regulations. (*this does not include the "end of faire" discount bump)


Security Deposit: A $100 security deposit/clean-up fee will be required at check-in. Please have the check made out to Stone Circle, Inc before entering for check in to help keep the flow smooth and efficient.

 

Liability and Insurance:
Please have your insurance in hand when you arrive for check-in with the correct "additionally insured" listed. Having this in hand and ready keeps check-in running smooth, quick and efficient.

 

The merchant is responsible for any damage or injury caused by their merchandise or booth setup.The merchant must carry their own liability insurance and provide proof of insurance to the Renaissance Faire organizers before setting up their booth. The Renaissance Faire organizers are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise.Vendors are required to provide proof of Insurance.  

 

Your one-million-dollar General Liability policy MUST name the following entities as “Additionally Insured”:
