You will ONLY be charged if you are ACCEPTED for your selected vending dates.
NO REFUNDS: There are no date transfers or refunds of the vending fee as vendor fees are used for promotional materials, rent and event costs.
WEATHER: The market is a rain or shine event. We will remain open in all weather that allows us to continue to operate safely. As long as we are open, you are permitted to continue to sell.
YOUR VENDING SPACE: Each vendor space at The Lucky Flea is an approximately 10’x10’ spot on the walkway of the Grove/ on the sidewalk of Elm st. No additional vending materials will be provided. All vendors are required to bring a canopy tent with weights in order to combat any wind. Any vending materials (clothing racks, tables, shelfs, etc) must not go beyond your outlined space.
SPOT REQUESTS: As this will be a completely new location, with a new vendor map and layout, we are unable to accept vendor space requests for our June and July applications. Once we get our bearings at this new space, we will be able to resume accepting vendor space requests later this season.
SETUP: Setup will run from 7AM-10AM, all vendors must be ready for the market open by 10AM. At our new location, cars will NOT be allowed to drive directly onto the event space as it is on a raised walkway. The closest points for unloading will be on the side streets on either end of The Grove - Elm st and Broad st. Vendors will park, drop off their vending materials and then proceed to either the Midtown Garage or surrounding street parking. Vendors are NOT allowed to keep their cars along Elm st or Broad st, as we will be setting up our food trucks and school bus vendors along these streets. As vendors will have to unload their cars and then park, we highly suggest bringing one other person to help this process go smoothly. We will also have Flea staff stationed at both entrances to help with the flow of traffic and guiding vendors to the proper areas. BREAKDOWN: Breakdown can begin anytime after market close (4 PM). Breaking down early requires permission from flea event staff. Vendors who leave early without permission may not be invited back for future markets.
FOOD VENDORS: Food Vendors that do not operate out of a food truck, must make sure they have obtained a Temporary Food Permit from the Monroe County Health Department and follow all necessary guidelines (food permit and guidelines attached below). ONLY food truck vendors are allowed to operate an open flame at the market. If you are a food vendor that does not operate within a food truck, you cannot use any open flames to cook at your booth due to Rochester Fire Department event safety regulations.
FLEA VALUES: The Lucky Flea is first and foremost a safe and inclusive atmosphere for creators to thrive as a collective. Hate is never tolerated.I hereby declare that I have read and accept all conditions of The Lucky Flea Market. I understand that there are no refunds of the vending fee. The Lucky Flea LLC. and affiliated businesses including Buckingham Properties and The Grove are not responsible for any liability, lost or stolen merchandise or injury during the event.
