Food Truck or Trailer Vendor Fee: $150.00 (invoice sent after approval)
BEFORE BEGINNING YOUR APPLICATION...
To ensure you're able to meet the expectations involved in being a vendor at this event, please read ALL of the information below and review the Vendor Schedule in the attached PDF:
- This event is rain or shine. All vendor spaces will be outdoors and all vendors are required to bring their own 10 x 10 tent, tent weights, table, etc.
- Vendor booths will be located on the Courthouse grounds and on the sidewalks and streets surrounding Court Square. We will share more information and provide you with a map detailing your exact location no earlier than Wednesday, October 22nd.
- On the day of the event, Main Street will begin closing to vehicular traffic at 8 AM. For setup, vendors will be permitted vehicular access to the closed event zone, via West Market Street, no earlier than 11 AM and no later than 12 PM. To attend this event, vendors must be able to follow the schedule detailed in the attached PDF.
Please keep in mind that the mission of our organization centers around supporting small businesses located in Downtown Harrisonburg. If upon review of your application, we find that your business is in direct, obvious competition with a business already located downtown, we may not be able to accept you as a vendor at our festivals.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
- Vendors must be able to break down their vendor setup and exit the event site by, no later than, 6:20 PM (i.e., vendors are allotted a maximum of 80 minutes to breakdown and exit the event site).
- Vendor fee payments must be received prior to the event date.
- In order to be refunded their vendor fee, vendors must notify HDR that they need to cancel their vendor space no less than 5 business days prior to the event date. Cancellation requests made after the 5 business day deadline will not be refunded.
- All tents must be weighted!
- All HDR events will be held rain or shine.
- Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tent, tables, chairs, tent weights, and any other items needed as part of an outdoor event.
- Activities and displays must be appropriately family-friendly. Vendors that refuse to adhere to this policy will be asked to leave the event.
- Each vendor is expected to clean up and dispose of their own trash throughout the day and before leaving. When you pack up your booth and leave the event, nothing should be left behind in your booth space.
- Unless you are able to breakdown and exit the event without driving your vehicle onto the closed road surrounding your vendor space, early breakdowns are not permitted.
