Things we look for in food trucks:

Complete meals 

Versatile meals (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, halal, kosher, etc.)

Trucks preferred

Single trailers with an experienced driver available on the day of the event to park the trailer. 

Non alcoholic beverages in addition to food

 

Things we don't look for:

Carnival style food

About the event

Ferndale Michigan hosts one of the largest LGBTQAI festivals in the state. 220 vendors line the streets of downtown, 3 stages of entertainment keep the crowds dancing, bars, restaurants and shops join in the fun creating a pride festival that has a little something for everyone. Vendors are open from 1:00-8:00pm but may stay open as late as the stages (10:00 p.m.) This year's event takes place on May 30, 2026.

$250 deposit trucks that do not return the remainder of their payout within 10 days of Ferndale Pride 2026 may not be eligible for Ferndale Pride 2027. Please see complete list of rules below.

Additional Application Donation to Ferndale Pride ($10 Increments) $10.00 Non-refundable
Space Deposit $250.00 Non-refundable This deposit holds your space at pride. Should you be accepted to the event, deduct the $250 from the remaining balance after the event. The rest of your payment must be paid no later than 10 days after the event in order to keep good standing for the following year. Should you not be accepted a refund minus fees will be issued to your card.

  • Food trucks must arrive on site at 9 AM. Failure to arrive on time may be cause for removal from the event/upcoming events. Deposits will not be refunded for late arrivals.
  • Vendors must be open for business by 1 p.m. and must remain open until 8 p.m. But may stay open until 10 p.m.
  • Participants are responsible for transporting, refridgeration and shipping their goods to and from the street fair.
  • Vehicles are NOT allowed into the festival space except for unloading with the exception of display vehicles. Loading and unloading times will be communicated to each vendor as we approach the event. Companies requiring a vehicle to place their trailer must move the vehicle off the festival grounds immediately after dropping their food trailer.
  • Ferndale Pride will not provide weights for vendor tents. Vendors are advised to bring 4 weights of at least 40 lbs. to weigh down their tent.
  • Vendors are prohibited from broadcasting any music or sound from their exhibit area, with the exception of radio station booths as agreed to with the event coordinator.
  • Vendors found illegally using municipal or business utilities will be promptly shut down and asked to leave the event, and may be subject to prosecution by the City of Ferndale.
  • Vendors, participants and attendees must act in strict accordance with state liquor laws and that alcohol may not be brought into the street fair. Vendors not in compliance will be fined by the City of Ferndale or the State of Michigan and will be responsible for any fine incurred by Ferndale Pride or Ferndale Community Foundation.
  • Vendors may not sell merchandise that contain the words “Ferndale Pride” or depict the Ferndale Pride Logo without the prior written consent of the Ferndale Community Foundation. If you intend on this, please indicate so in the Additional Information section of this application.
  • Vendors, including vendor's booth staff, consent to being photographed, videotaped and/or quoted for Ferndale Pride publicity/promotion purposes.
  • Ferndale Pride reserves the right to prohibit any display or sale of any items or material for any reason, including those that may be illegal, obscene, pornographic or inappropriate as deemed solely by Ferndale Pride.
  • Vendors and exhibitors are responsible for any damages caused by themselves or their staff members to any other booths, vendors, Ferndale Pride property or City of Ferndale property.
  • Applicant and all vendors and exhibitors agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Ferndale Pride, Ferndale Community Foundation, and the City of Ferndale, from any claim, demand, suit, loss, cost or expense, or any damage which may be asserted, claimed or recovered including death, sustained by any person whomsoever and which damage, injury or death arises out of or is incident to, or in any way connected with Ferndale Pride event.
  • Ferndale Pride reserves the right to refuse exhibitor space at its own discretion. Companies, small businesses and nonprofits are eligible to apply. Multi level marketing organizations or affiliates are not eligible for booth space at Ferndale Pride.
  • I acknowledge the fire inspection requirements from the City of Ferndale and have plans to get inspection set.
  • I acknowledge the fire saftey sheet provided by the City of Ferndale and will use it as a guide my business.
  • I have reviewed the guidlines and resouces provided by The City of Ferndale for Sustainable products.
