Welcome to Kimmswick's Food Truck Friday Event! Come join us on the 2nd Friday of each month to explore an array of food options for you and your family & friends!!! Family game activities will be available in our City Hall Field (located on Third St. between Market St. & Elm St.), along with numerous picnic tables to enjoy your meals and hangout listening to music and enjoying the weather! Select Boutique Shops will also remain open for those who want to walk off some of the delicious food they just ate and do some summer shopping!

 

Browse through our application and let us know if you have any questions! This is an electronic agreement and by submitting your application, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

 

This fee includes providing a temporary business license to vendors for use during the 2025 Season. The Kimmswick Food Truck Friday Season ends on December 12th, 2025, 5-9 p.m.


This allows set up on one of the following dates:



September 12, 2025: 5-9 p.m.
October 10, 2025: 5-9 p.m.

November 14th, 2025: 5-9 p.m.

December 12th, 2025: 5-9 p.m.

 

Once approved, you will be assigned a location on our city streets to use on the above dates. Please make sure you select which dates (or all of the above) that you plan to attend! It is the flat fee of $75 to attend one of the dates! Electricity is an additional $25.00. Generators are welcomed, preferably on the quieter side to not drown out the live music.

 

If you are a no-show on one of the above dates you were scheduled for, you will be charged an additional $50.00 for not utilizing the space on that specific date. This charge is per occurrence.

 

ALL SPACE ASSIGNMENTS ARE MADE AT THE SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION OF THE KIMMSWICK EVENTS COMMITTEE. 

 

IF YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT APPROVED, YOU WILL RECEIVE A PROMPT REFUND. REFUNDS DO NOT INCLUDE SERVICE/TRANSACTION FEES (THESE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE). 

 

 

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Once you submit your application, you will receive an email stating the submission was successful. Submitting an application does not guarantee you will be approved as a vendor.  You will receive a follow-up email once you have been approved.

 

If you receive an email stating you were waitlisted, this means the Event Committee has reviewed your application and are taking it into consideration. Being waitlisted does not mean you have been denied, and it does not mean you will be approved. It means the Event Committee must further review before making a decision. 

 

All events are held rain or shine, unless weather emergency occurs. Please plan accordingly. No refunds given for inclement weather. 

 

Food vendors must have their food & beverage permit and fire district permit (if applicable) always displayed.

 

Kimmswick Business License must always be displayed.

 

 SET-UP: Food Trucks will be assigned spaces on Third St. between Market & Elm St. Please do not block any driveways while setting up. Please remember to respect our city residents and merchants, they must be able to enter their driveways to their homes and businesses.

 

· TRUCK SPACE(S): If you set your truck is set up in the wrong area you will be asked to move. PLEASE CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SPACE LOCATION… WHEN IN DOUBT ASK.  Someone will be happy to help.

 

·         No selling from cardboard boxes/rubber tubs, all inventories are to be placed on tables and neatly displayed boxes/tubs must be kept out of sight, if under your table they must be covered.

 

 IF A SITUATION ARISES AND YOU CANNOT LOCATE A CITY STAFF MEMBER, PLEASE CALL: 636-464-7407 AND WE WILL SEND SECURITY TO YOUR SITE TO ASSIST WITH THE SITUATION.

 

 

ELECTRICITY

 

·   Electricity is LIMITED!

 

· Those who purchased electricity are authorized for ONE (1) outlet per electrical purchase.

 

·   Please specify the required amps you need when purchasing electricity.

 

·   Please bring your own extension cords to be able to run from outlet box to truck area.

 

·     The City of Kimmswick does not promote the purchase of electricity from businesses or residence.

 

 ·       The City of Kimmswick cannot be held liable for any issues related to utilizing electricity from non-city outlets.

 

·         Please keep in mind the reasoning for your electricity usage and any additional permits that may be required (cooking equipment, heaters, etc.) Additional permits are listed further below.

 

 

PARKING

 

If you require additional parking for personal vehicles, city staff will direct you to allocated locations that are free of charge.

 

 The City of Kimmswick does not promote the purchase of PARKING SPACES from businesses or residence. The City of Kimmswick cannot be held liable for any issues related to utilizing NON-CITY PROPERTY.

 

                                               

THE KIMMSWICK EVENT COMMITTEE

 

·         We reserve the right to determine vendor location. This determination will be based on the size and space available.

 

·         The day of the event, vendor locations may be moved, prior to and/or after setting up, for any reason by the discretion of the City of Kimmswick Staff and/or Event Committee

 

·         The City of Kimmswick and the Event Committee reserve the right to utilize the images of your products to promote on social media to attract more visitors. The event committee will make every effort possible to identify the businesses with the images posted to help with promoting our vendors.

 

·         The Event Committee encourages all vendors to promote this event to the best of their ability, posting on social media, tagging the City of Kimmswick Events page on Facebook and/or Instagram, inviting your network to our Facebook event page; however, not required. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

SALES TAX:  Per the Missouri Department of Revenue. Each vendor will be responsible for collection and payment of Missouri Sales Tax Please contact the Missouri Department of Revenue 573-751-3505. We do send a report to the D.O.R.; however, it is your responsibility to contact them prior to the events. 

 

Register with the State of Missouri for a State Sales Tax Number.

 

FOOD/BEVERAGE PERMIT: ALL FOOD/BEVERAGE VENDORS AND COTTAGE LAW VENDORS (selling pre-packaged cooked/baked items) WHO ARE PROVIDING SAMPLES OR REQUIRE HEATING/COOLING OF PRODUCTS MUST HAVE A FOOD & BEVERAGE PERMIT THROUGH JEFFERSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT. You may contact them with your questions at: 636-797-3737, or you can apply online at: www.jeffcohealth.org

The Jefferson County Health Department will be onsite to identify violations.

 

FIRE DISTRICT PERMIT:  If you are cooking food, cooking with grease, or open flame, or using electricity for heating equipment, you will also need a “Special Event/Festival Permit” through the ROCK COMMUNITY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT. You may contact them at 636-296-2211 for additional details and requirements. You can also apply online at www.rockfire-rescue.org . Once at their website, under the "Fire Marshal" tab, scroll down, click on "Special Event Festival Permit." Once you complete the application, you can email it to permits@rockfire-rescue.org

 

The Rock Community Fire Marshal will be onsite during the events to identify violations.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE VENDORS: Proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance listing the City of Kimmswick as an additionally insured for a minimum of 2-million-dollar MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE CITY OF KIMMSWICK PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

 

 IF YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED THIS DOCUMENTATION BY THE DAY OF THE 1st EVENT, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

 

 

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS IF YOU ARE REQUESTED TO LEAVE THE EVENT BY THE CITY OF KIMMSWICK STAFF AND/OR ANY DEPARTMENTS MENTIONED ABOVE. IF YOU ARE FOUND IN VIOLATION OF NOT HAVING THE PROPER PERMITS AND ARE REQUIRED TO LEAVE, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RETURN THE FOLLOWING YEAR.

 

 

SECURITY

 

·         Extra police presence will be provided Friday night.

 

·         Participants are responsible for their merchandise and equipment in case of loss or damage.

 

·         The Festival Committee, The City of Kimmswick, its Officers, agents or employees shall be held free from and against all expenses, claims, actions, liabilities, attorney fees, damages, and losses of any kind whatsoever, actually or allegedly, resulting from or connected with the operation of said booths.

Terms & Conditions

The rules and regulations set by the City of Kimmswick and the Kimmswick Events Committee are binding for all vendors, partners, and corporate sponsors.  

 

This application is an electronic agreement.  By submitting it you affirm you have read these terms and conditions and agree to adhere to them.

No vendor spaces will be secured as complimentary by any business or nonprofit organization that engages in the sale of goods, products or services at City of Kimmswick events.  
 
No private property space-leased vendors will be permitted to participate in the Kimmswick Food Truck Friday Events.  No temporary business licenses will be issued by the City of Kimmswick to private property space-leased vendors.    
 
No vendor spaces may be subleased to or secured on behalf of another organization at City of Kimmswick festivals.  No exceptions will be made.

· The City of Kimmswick and the Kimmswick Event Committee desires to provide a positive and productive business and entertainment environment. To that end, the City of Kimmswick is committed to providing a business and entertainment environment that is free of discrimination and harassment, and to provide a means of dealing with such incidents should they occur.

 

 · Harassment or discrimination, in any form, will not be tolerated.

The City of Kimmswick and the City of Kimmswick Events Committee reserve the right to accept or refuse any Vendor/Corporate Sponsor application, in their sole and absolute discretion.  

 

Participants are responsible for their merchandise/product and equipment in case of loss or damage. By participating as a Vendor/Partner/Corporate Sponsor in the Kimmswick Food Truck Friday Events, you release and hold harmless the City of Kimmswick and its employees, City officials, and agents, private property owners, the Events Committee and its members from all responsibility for damage/loss/theft to the crafts/products/food displayed and/or sold and your possessions as well as for any personal injury to yourself or others.

 

You are responsible for any injury that occurs to your booth/tent/vehicle/equipment and display items. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless said organizations and individuals for any damage or injury that may result from the sale/display/operation of your products.

 

The City of Kimmswick, City officials, employees and agents, private property owners, the Events Committee and its members shall be held harmless from and against all expenses, claims, actions, liabilities, attorney fees, damages, and losses of any kind whatsoever resulting from or connected with the operation of any event space rented from the City of Kimmswick.

 

By submitting this application, you give the City of Kimmswick permission to utilize the images of your products to promote the festival on social media and other marketing options

 

 You affirm you are at least 18 years of age and are legally competent to enter contracts under Missouri law as per Mo. Rev. Stat § 431.055.
