About the event

The National Night Out™ program promotes neighborhood alliances to strengthen our communities and preserve the quality of life in East Texas. Through National Night Out™, we can strengthen our communities by helping to educate our families, friends and neighbors on crime prevention. The National Night Out™ program helps local governmental agencies inform residents that communities are safer when neighbors work together. Getting to know your neighbors is an important step in guaranteeing safety in your communities, so Gun Barrel City will host a Centralized Event this year at the Pavilion. Everyone is invited to attend and we are encouraging our POA's to host booths so neighbors are meeting neighbors.

Terms & Conditions

Food Truck Partner Responsibilities

  • Food trucks must be entirely self-sufficient. No electricity, water, or utilities will be provided by the City.
  • All equipment, generators, lighting, and supplies must be provided by the food truck.
  • Quiet generators are required to minimize disruption to the event and other vendors.
  • Participants must arrive during designated setup hours and be fully operational before the start of the event.
  • Trucks must remain in place for the entire duration of the event and may not leave early unless instructed to do so by event staff.
  • All trucks must comply with all City ordinances and state health regulations.
  • Food trucks are responsible for cleaning up their area, including grease/oil spills, food waste, and trash.
  • Wastewater and grease may not be dumped on-site.

Permits & Documentation

  • All food trucks must hold valid state and local health permits, and be prepared for on-site inspection if required.
  • A copy of the food truck’s current health permit and certificate of insurance must be submitted prior to the event.
  • A list of menu items must be submitted for review and approval in advance.

Sales Tax Compliance

  • A valid Texas Sales Tax ID must be provided.
  • If claiming exemption, documentation must be submitted.

National Night Out Branding
Food trucks may not use National Night Out branding or logos on menus, packaging, signage, or merchandise without prior written approval from Gun Barrel City and the National Association of Town Watch (NATW).
