🎄 12th Annual Handmade Holiday Fest
On location at Lily & Sparrow Mercantile in historic downtown Covington, GA

Join us for a festive celebration of the season filled with artisan-made gifts, live music, and joyful community spirit. Held on Shop Small Saturday, this annual event invites families and holiday shoppers to explore one-of-a-kind finds from local makers and creatives.

As in year’s past this event supports AWAKE Communities, a faith-based nonprofit committed to cultivating communities through a life-style of revival by meeting everyday needs, prayer, and encouraging Creatives to pursue their God-given dreams.

We’re welcoming up to 35 vendors offering handmade or small-batch items, and foods including:

• Stocking Stuffers & Children’s Items

All items must be handmade or designed by the vendor. No direct sales or mass-produced goods, please.

🎁 Vendor Booth Decorating Contest
Bring the holiday cheer! Vendors who decorate their booths and wear festive attire will be entered to win a Lily & Sparrow Mercantile gift card.

✅ Vendor Guidelines & Fire Safety:

Approval: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all spaces are filled. Past participation does not guarantee acceptance.

Marketing & Promotion: Promoted through Lily & Sparrow, Newton County Chamber, City of Covington, local signage, and social media. Vendors are encouraged to share with their own followers.

Attendance: Typically draws 800–1,000+ local holiday shoppers

Outdoor Event: Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, displays, and setup materials.

Fire Safety Requirements (City of Covington):

• 5 lb ABC fire extinguisher with a visible pressure gauge is required at each booth
• Tent weights must be placed on all four corners of vendor tents

Vendors not meeting these requirements may be asked to leave at the discretion of the Fire Chief during inspection

If space remains, applications may be accepted beyond this date.

Event Date: Saturday, November 29, 2025 • 10 AM–4 PM

Please read through our application and let us know if you have any questions. This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

Terms & Conditions

• Rain or Shine: This is an outdoor event and will take place rain, cold, or shine. We encourage all participants to dress appropriately for the weather.

• Vendor Setup: Your vendor fee covers space only. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, displays, and seating as needed.

• Non-Refundable Fees: All net proceeds from vendor fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.

• Safety Requirements: All vendors are required to have a fire extinguisher and proper weights for their tents on the day of the event. This is a local fire ordinance and may be enforced by inspection from the fire department.

• Family-Friendly Policy: This is a family-friendly event—all presentations must be tasteful and positive. Any vendor who is found to bring or display items that are not whole-family friendly will be asked to leave. This includes products that promote drugs or drug use, violence or gore, sexually explicit content or suggestive imagery, graphic depictions of body parts, explicit language or offensive material, occult practices, spiritual readings, dark spiritual themes, or any other items or concepts deemed inappropriate by the event organizers.
  This policy is non-negotiable. Thank you for helping us create a safe and welcoming environment for guests of all ages.

• Force Majeure Clause: In the event of cancellation, in whole or in part, due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather disasters, acts of God, emergencies), no refunds will be issued. The event will be rescheduled, and your vendor spot will automatically be honored for the new date.

• Payment Policy: Vendors must provide valid payment information upon application. If a payment attempt is declined, we will reach out directly to offer a chance to resolve the issue. If no resolution is made, a second attempt will be processed. If the second payment attempt is also declined, your spot will be forfeited, and you will not be permitted to participate in this event.
  We reserve the right to decline your participation at any time and move on to the next applicant.

• Prohibited Items: For the safety of all attendees, the following items are strictly prohibited: firearms, knives or any weapons, sharp objects, glass bottles (please use non-glass containers), illegal drugs, fireworks, explosives, or any item that may be considered dangerous. Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on site.

• Conduct Policy: To maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere, access to the event will be refused to anyone who:
  – Is under the influence of illegal substances
  – Is visibly intoxicated
  – Has been banned from previous events by the organizers or local authorities
  – Demonstrates disruptive, aggressive, or violent behavior
  – Refuses to comply with event security or staff directions

Liability Waiver: Lily & Sparrow Mercantile, LLC (event host location) and AWAKE Communities International. Inc. (event organizers) are not responsible for any loss or damage to vendor property or personal belongings during the event. This includes loss or damage to any vehicle on or near the festival grounds, including vehicles that may be towed.
