TACO COMPETITION
Vendor Terms & Conditions
(Ticket-Based Sales Event)
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for all vendors participating in the Taco Competition event (the “Event”). By participating, each vendor (“Vendor”) agrees to comply with the following terms:
1. Event Structure
The Event operates using a ticket-based sales system.
Attendees will purchase a Taco Passport, which contains a set number of tasting tickets.
Each ticket is redeemable for one taco sample from any participating Vendor.
2. Vendor Compensation
Vendors will receive payment based on the total number of tickets collected at their booth.
The per-ticket value will be communicated prior to the Event.
Payment will be issued within 7–14 business days after the Event, upon ticket reconciliation.
3. Taco Sample Requirements
Each sample must be approximately 3–4 bites in size and representative of your brand.
Vendors must provide one sample per ticket—no additional charges are permitted during the competition portion.
Vendors are responsible for bringing an adequate supply to meet attendee demand.
4. Health & Safety Compliance
Vendors must comply with all local health and food safety regulations.
All necessary permits, licenses, and certifications must be current and visible during the Event.
Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace at all times.
5. Booth Setup & Breakdown
Setup and teardown times will be communicated prior to the Event.
Vendors must provide their own equipment, including tents, tables, signage, and cooking supplies.
Booths must be fully operational by the start of the Event and remain open until the designated end time.
6. Cancellations & No-Shows
7. Liability & Insurance
Vendors participate at their own risk and agree to hold harmless the Event Organizer, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation.
Vendors are strongly encouraged to carry general liability insurance covering their operations during the Event.
8. Professional Conduct
Vendors must conduct themselves in a respectful, safe, and professional manner.
Disruptive behavior, offensive language, or unprofessional presentation may result in removal from the Event.
9. Ticket Handling
Only official Event tickets may be accepted during the competition.
Vendors may not accept cash or other forms of payment for tacos during the ticketed portion of the Event.
All tickets must be returned to the Event Organizer at the end of the Event for reconciliation.
10. Event Changes
The Event Organizer reserves the right to make changes to logistics, payment terms, and operations.
Vendors will be notified in a timely manner of any such changes.
By participating in the Taco Competition, the Vendor acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined above.
