About the application

The Dizzy Gypsy presents the 5th show in the NOW FAMOUS "Art Loves Beer Loves Art Tour" where local artists showcase their GROOVY AWESOME art in local breweries. Hosted by Ironshield Brewing, this NEW art show celebrates ALL THINGS AUTUMN with art by multiple local artists and YOU can be one of them! If you are an artist, submit your art NOW to be considered for the show, which opens Saturday, October 30, 2021. WHAT KIND OF ART DO WE WANT? Any 2D paintings or drawings that can hang on a wall, handmade by YOU. Think fall colors and scenes, colorful autumn trees, harvests, warm cozy sweaters, crisp cool winds, pumpkin spice lattes, American apple pie, warm soups, hot chili (Ironshield will be hosting a Chili Cooking Contest on Nov. 20 during the art show!) and anything else that you think of when you think of autumn! THE TECHNICAL STUFF All the art will be available for SALE IN PERSON at Ironshield Brewery and ONLINE at http://dizzygypsy.org. And YES, we ship art anywhere! You may submit as many pieces as you like that fit the theme. All art must be signed by the artist and wired ready to hang on the wall. Canvases can be framed but don't have to be, however all paper or otherwise delicate art *must* be framed. For each piece, include the title, size in inches (width X height) and medium (acrylic on canvas, oil on wood, watercolor on paper, etc.) along with your preferred price. Got questions? Terms & Conditions

The following commission/payment terms will apply to each consigned artwork sold by the GALLERY: 30% commission to the GALLERY, which includes credit card processing and e-commerce platform fees, and the remainder of the total purchase price, excluding sales tax, to the ARTIST. The ARTIST retains ownership of all work consigned to or represented by the GALLERY. The ARTIST retains the copyright to all consigned artwork in perpetuity as governed by law. Retail sales price for each consigned artwork will be established by the ARTIST and the 30% GALLERY commission will be added on top of that for the total pre-tax sales price. The ARTIST agrees to abide by the GALLERY decision regarding price-setting. The GALLERY will exert all reasonable efforts to close sales of consigned or represented artwork. The ARTIST agrees to release and provide the GALLERY, in a timely fashion and upon request, with any necessary documents, pictures, marketing assets or other information to help make sales of the art. Payment to ARTIST will be provided within 14 days after receipt of payment from Buyer to the GALLERY. Installment payment sales will not be accepted by the GALLERY. Upon ARTIST request, the GALLERY will provide ARTIST with account statements of sales activity for all inventoried work. Payment is made by the GALLERY to the ARTIST via Venmo or PayPal. The ARTIST must provide accurate account information to the GALLERY for payment (see below). The GALLERY does not maintain insurance for fire, flood, theft, vandalism, accidental damage, breakage or any other harm caused to artwork while in GALLERY possession. Furthermore, individual businesses and venues that host art in the GALLERY possession are not liable for any form of damage to art owned by the ARTIST and in possession of the GALLERY. Reasonable efforts will be made to protect consigned artwork from accidental damage or breakage. It is recommended, but not required, that the ARTIST maintain liability insurance on their own individual art at their expense. By signing this agreement the ARTIST releases the GALLERY and the SHOW VENUE from any and all liability. This CONTRACT may be voided upon thirty (30) days notice by either party. It may also be extended via verbal agreement between the ARTIST and the GALLERY. Should the consigned artwork remain unsold at the end of CONTRACT term and if the CONTRACT term is not renewed, ARTIST must retrieve their work in a timely manner. Unless otherwise agreed upon by the ARTIST and the GALLERY, artwork not retrieved within thirty (30) days of the end of the CONTRACT term will be considered abandoned and become property of the GALLERY.
