Music Makers Market at Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival

Returning for 2025, the Music Makers Market is a special part of the Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival, showcasing local artists and makers whose original art and handcrafted goods are directly inspired by or connected to music. We’re looking for unique work that celebrates the spirit of music — like reimagined vintage vinyl album art, music-themed paintings, handmade instruments, jewelry or décor made from musical materials, or any other creative products that speak to music lovers. The market will be centrally located along Commerce Street — right in the middle of all the excitement — placing your booth at the heart of the festival, surrounded by live performances, great food, and thousands of music enthusiasts.

Market Hours:

Friday: 6:00 PM — 10:00 PM

Saturday: 12:00 PM — 10:00 PM

Vendor spaces are limited and highly sought after, so all applications will be carefully reviewed. Artists and makers will be selected based on:

1. How well their products connect to music, musicians, or the local music scene
2. The entertainment and engagement value they add to the festival experience
3. Completion of the application by the posted deadline, following all guidelines
4. Our goal of supporting local artists and businesses whenever possible

2025 Terms & Conditions — Music Makers Market

GENERAL INFORMATION & AGREEMENT

By reading the information below and submitting this online Artist Market Application & Agreement, you agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers for the 2025 Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival, which are made part of this agreement by reference.

1. Artist Market Booth Space is Limited
   The event organizers will review each application and notify vendors of acceptance or rejection by email to the address provided in the application. The organizers have sole discretion over which applications are accepted and reserve the right to limit the number of booths of a similar type. All decisions of the organizers are final. Please understand that the City of Alpharetta or 1st & Main Events cannot discuss acceptance or non-acceptance by phone or email.
2. Products & Displays
   Only products and displays described in this application may be sold at the event. The vendor must be present at their booth throughout the festival unless other arrangements have been made with festival organizers. Vendors must clearly list and describe all items they intend to sell. If a vendor conducts activities or displays items not listed in their application, or misrepresents their business in any way, the organizers reserve the right to ask the vendor to leave the festival.
3. Rain or Shine
   The Music Makers Market within the Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival will take place rain or shine. All booth fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and the vendor assumes all risk regardless of weather conditions or if the event is canceled due to an act of God.
4. Booth Space & Equipment
   A 10’ x 10’ booth space will be provided to each vendor for both days. Vendors are responsible for bringing any needed items, including:

• A basic show-quality white 10’ x 10’ canopy tent with a minimum of 40 pounds of weight on each tent leg
• Tables, chairs, and battery-operated lights for booth setup and operation

 Electricity
Requests for electricity must be made in advance through this application. Special requests are not guaranteed.

Booth Assignments & Instructions
Booth assignments, load-in/load-out details, and setup/breakdown instructions will be emailed at least one week prior to the event.

Responsibility for Merchandise
The City of Alpharetta and market organizer 1st & Main Events are not responsible for the loss or damage of merchandise. Please do not leave any valuables overnight. We cannot be held responsible for any loss of product due to theft.

Liability Waiver & Release
Vendors/participants assume all responsibility for, and risks and hazards of, participation in the rental activity planned by the organization. In consideration of the City of Alpharetta providing permission to use the requested space, vendors/participants and all members of their group hereby release 1st & Main Events and the City of Alpharetta — including all officials, officers, employees, sponsors, organizers, supervisors, volunteers, participants, and other agents — from any and all claims, demands, rights, and causes of action of whatever kind or nature, arising from or by reason of any and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, bodily or personal injuries, damage to property, and the consequences thereof, resulting from participation in the activity planned within the City. 

Vendors should obtain, at their own expense, any insurance they deem necessary.

No outside pets are available at the festival.
