About the application

On Saturday, July 5th we're shining a light on Ankeny's nonprofits! Bring a tent and set up in the green space at the Ankeny Market & Pavilion Park during the Uptown Ankeny Farmers Market from 8am-12pm.


You have the chance to interact with an average of 2500 weekly market-goers to educate about what you do or rustle up some volunteer interest. 

About the event

Open every Saturday from May 24th through September 27th (closed 7/12 for Ankeny Chamber Summerfest), the Uptown Ankeny Farmers Market’s vendors provide a wide variety of products to the public. The Market has everything from fresh seasonal produce, home-made baked goods, specialty food items, perennial plants, and hand-made crafts. Set beneath the pavilions in the Ankeny Market & Pavilion park, our weather-proof market only closes for lightning or dangerous wind in the area. Market hours are 8am-12pm. Our market averages 55 local vendors each week. Additional entertainment includes rides on the Uptown Express train ride, Kid Zone activities, free children's books through our Market Stories program, live music, plus more fun on special theme days!
