Food Trucks/Food Tents/ Any Prepared Foods

This application is for food trucks, food carts, food tents. 

All other vendors need to use the farmers market vendor application!

A current business license and current health inspection is required for all food trucks. 

A current business license and food sales permit is required for other food vendors. 

By applying to participate as a food truck vendor at the City of Blue Ridge Farmers Market, vendors agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in removal from the event or disqualification from future participation.

• All food trucks must be fully licensed and in compliance with Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and Georgia Department of Agriculture (GDA) regulations.

• Vendors must provide:

  • A valid Mobile Food Service Permit

  • A business license

  • Recent Health Inspection

• Vendors must comply with all health and fire codes. Food trucks may be subject to inspection by the local health department or fire marshal on site.

• Trucks must arrive during the designated setup window. Late arrivals may forfeit their space.

• Vendors must be fully operational by the event start time and remain in place until the event officially ends.

• Early breakdown or departure is not permitted unless approved by the Market Manager.

• The market does not provide power or water access. All food trucks must be fully self-contained.

• Generators must be quiet and well-maintained. Excessively loud or smoky generators may be prohibited.

• Food trucks must bring their own trash containers and dispose of waste off-site. Dumping grease, gray water, or food waste in the street, grass, or drains is strictly prohibited.

• All vendors must carry general liability insurance.

• Vendors are responsible for any damage caused by their operations, staff, equipment, or vehicles.

• The City of Blue Ridge is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to vendor property.

• All staff must conduct themselves professionally and courteously.

• Music from food trucks is not allowed unless pre-approved.

• The vending area must be kept clean during and after the event. All waste, including food scraps, wrappers, grease, and containers, must be removed by the vendor.

• Trucks will be assigned a designated space by the Market Manager and must park within their allotted footprint.

• Overflow or support vehicles must be parked in designated areas.

• Vendors may not change locations without permission.

• Any food safety violations, unsanitary conditions, or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate removal from the event and possible exclusion from future events.

• Vendors are responsible for ensuring food is stored and served at safe temperatures in accordance with health codes.
