We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd Annual "You Better Werk" Queer Job Fair, hosted by the Savannah Pride Center, on October 4th from 12pm-4pm at the Savannah Civic Center. This empowering event is designed to connect our vibrant LGBTQIA+ community with local businesses that are dedicated to fostering safe and inclusive workplaces. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of job openings, learn about application processes, and gain insights into company cultures and benefits. Our participating employers are eager to share the steps they take to support and include LGBTQIA+ individuals, such as comprehensive health insurance, mental health resources, anti-discrimination policies, and more. Whether you're looking for your next career move or simply want to network with supportive employers, this job fair is the perfect place to celebrate your talents and find your fit. Join us and let’s werk together towards a brighter, more inclusive future!

Ideally we would like our community partner employers to offer the following:

• List of Job Positions Available
• Application Process (Preferred that applicants can apply during the Job Fair) 
• Information on Company Atmosphere and Culture
• Information on Company Benefits 
• Steps your company takes to support and include the LGBTQIA+ community. This could include: Insurance covering Queer Health needs, Queer Support Groups or Teams, Mental Health Options, Assistance for Adoption, IVF, Zero Tolerance Anti-Discrimination policies, Pronoun Placement on ID Badges or Business Cards, ability to use preferred names rather than legal name, All-Gendered Restroom or Gender-Neutral Restroom Options, Required Employee Trainings, etc. 

Booths are free with priority will be given to organizations that have completed our Safe and Affirming Spaces Training. If you have not taken our Safe and Affirming Spaces Training, please feel free to reach out to us for pricing and availability.
