Bartender Competition Application – Peaks & Pours 2025

Do you have what it takes to craft the next standout whiskey cocktail?

We are now accepting applications for the Peaks & Pours Bartender Competition, where creativity, flavor, and presentation come together in an unforgettable showdown.

• Bartenders will create an original whiskey-based cocktail using our featured sponsor whiskey (provided)

• Cocktails must include no more than five ingredients (excluding the whiskey)

• A secret ingredient will be revealed just before the competition and must be incorporated into the final cocktail

• Each competitor will present one cocktail for display and provide five 1 oz samples for judging

All selected competitors will participate in a one-hour shift in the VIP bar, either before or after the competition. This gives guests a chance to experience your style and connect with you directly.

• Your own bartending tools

• All additional ingredients (maximum of four, not including the whiskey or secret ingredient)

• Your presentation glassware

• Two General Admission tickets, one for you and one for a guest

• Featured placement in our event programming and social media

• A chance to showcase your talent to an audience of spirits enthusiasts and industry professionals

By submitting this application, you agree to the following:

Eligibility & Selection

• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Selection is not guaranteed. All applications will be reviewed based on creativity, experience, and event fit.
• Selected participants will be notified via email and must confirm participation within the specified timeframe.

Participation Requirements

• Competitors must work one (1) assigned shift (1 hour) in the VIP bar, either before or after the competition.
• Competitors must provide their own tools, ingredients (excluding sponsor whiskey and secret ingredient), and presentation glassware.
• Cocktails must use no more than five ingredients, not including the sponsor whiskey and secret ingredient.

Competition Rules

• A secret ingredient will be announced prior to the competition and must be featured in the final cocktail.
• Each competitor must prepare one (1) full cocktail for presentation and five (5) 1 oz samples for the judging panel.
• Cocktails will be judged on creativity, flavor, appearance, and integration of the secret ingredient.

Conduct & Safety

• Competitors must handle all ingredients and tools responsibly and maintain professional behavior throughout the event.
• Unsafe or unprofessional behavior may result in disqualification and removal from the event grounds.

Use of Likeness

• By participating, you grant Peaks & Pours the right to use your name, photo, and video footage for promotional purposes.

Ticket Terms

• Two (2) General Admission tickets will be provided per selected bartender. These are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Liability

• Peaks & Pours, its sponsors, and venue partners are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during participation.
• All participants assume full responsibility for their tools, materials, and conduct during the event.
