Volunteer - 2025 A Dickens Holiday

Volunteer with us at the 2025 A Dickens Holiday! Our event is successful because of the hard work, dedication, and the love of our event by our volunteers. Our volunteers contribute their help through all types of activities fro setting up at the event to specialized services! Becoming a volunteer is a great and FUN opportunity to give back to the community and support our event. 

Please complete this application if you are interested in joining us! We have a variety of tasks that will fit your interest, skills, and availability!

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult.

By completing this application, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation
   I am volunteering my services for A Dickens Holiday 2025 of my own free will. I understand I will not be compensated for my time or services and that this agreement does not create an employee/employer relationship.

2. Assumption of Risk
   I understand that volunteering at a public event may involve certain risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or illness (including exposure to contagious diseases). I assume full responsibility for any and all risks associated with volunteering.

3. Release of Liability
   I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, and personal representatives, hereby release and hold harmless the organizers of A Dickens Holiday, its affiliates, sponsors, partners, employees, and volunteers from any liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from my participation in this event.

4. Medical Treatment
   I authorize the event organizers to seek emergency medical treatment for me in the event of an accident or illness. I understand I am responsible for any medical costs incurred as a result.

5. Photo & Media Release
   I grant permission for photos, video, and audio recordings taken of me during A Dickens Holiday 2025 to be used for promotional or archival purposes, including but not limited to social media, printed materials, and websites.

6. Code of Conduct
   I agree to act respectfully, responsibly, and professionally during the event. I will follow the instructions of event staff and abide by all safety guidelines and event policies.
