This year, LeMoyne Arts invites fine artists to participate in Art Nouveau Aglow—a curated exhibition inspired by the iconic Art Nouveau movement. We are seeking original fine art that draws from the flowing lines, organic motifs, and emotional elegance that defined this revolutionary period of art and design.

✨ About the Theme

Art Nouveau (French for "New Art") flourished from the 1890s through the early 1910s, and was known for its graceful curves, nature-inspired forms, and integration of beauty into everyday life. Think whiplash lines, decorative flourishes, floral patterns, and ethereal figures. Artists like Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt, and Aubrey Beardsley are iconic figures of the style.

This movement wasn’t just about aesthetics—it aimed to create harmony between art and life. Art Nouveau Aglow invites you to interpret this legacy through your own lens and illuminate it with a touch of authentic magic.

🌿 What We Are Looking For:

• Fine art only 
• Work must be original and artist-made
• Pieces that align with or are inspired by Art Nouveau themes, such as:
  • Stylized botanicals, vines, flowers, and nature elements
  • Flowing lines, intricate patterns, and decorative details
  • Dreamlike figures, symbolic imagery, or mythological themes
  • An overall sense of beauty, movement, and glow
• 2D and 3D media accepted (painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, etc.)

We encourage artists to explore how the Art Nouveau style can be reimagined in their own voice, whether through subtle motifs or fully immersed compositions. Works that evoke the mood, linework, and ornamental elegance of this period will be prioritized in selection.

📝 How to Apply

Submit your application on Eventeny with:

• High-resolution images of artwork you intend to show (no repeats from previous Holiday Shows)

• Add under each image:

  • Medium / Category

  • Dimensions

  • Price

  • Short description

You cannot complete your application without this info.
Jury decisions will be reflected in Eventeny with ✅ or ❌ icons next to each image.

📅  Key Dates

• Apply by: Sunday, October 26, 2025 (rolling jury)

• Drop off artwork: November 7 & 8 (11 AM – 6 PM)

• Exhibition dates: November 15, 2025 – January 3, 2026

• Pickup unsold work: January 6 & 7, 2026 (11 AM – 3 PM)

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Artists are required to submit images & pricing examples to represent the type of artwork they want to show at the gallery.  

1. These images will be reviewed by the jury for consideration. Make sure your images are high-resolution and clearly represent the quality of your work.
2. Images must include a Brief Description, Category (Medium), General Dimensions, and Average Price. To add this information, click the "+Add info" button under the image. You will not be able to complete your application without this information.
3. The jury will notify you if you've been accepted or waitlisted. Items with a green check mark next to "‘included in jury" are approved. A red "X" means it's not approved. 

Item Eligibility

• Artwork shown at previous Holiday Shows will not be accepted.

• Commercial items are not allowed.

• Items must be appropriate for a family-friendly environment.
• All items must be for sale. “Not for Sale” items will not be accepted.
• LeMoyne reserves the right to reject items upon in-person review.

 Sales & Commission

• Artists receive 60% of sales

• LeMoyne retains 40%, covering:

  • Marketing

  • Venue & staffing

  • Packaging & merchant fees

  • Extended hours & setup

• Upper-Level LeMoyne members receive a 10% purchase discount (applied to LeMoyne’s share)

• LeMoyne staff and volunteers will do their best to care for your artwork; however, in case of an accident, artists agree to hold LeMoyne Arts harmless in the event of loss or breakage.

Artwork Requirements

• Open to artists 18+ (under 18 must apply with an adult)

• All work must be original and for sale

• Family-friendly only

• Commercial items are not accepted

• LeMoyne reserves the right to reject any work that:

  • Does not match application images

  • Is unready for display (wet, unstable, unhangable, etc.)
