  • This Inquiry is not a Contract: I agree and understand that by submitting this form it does NOT automatically guarantee acceptance to participate as a vendor at the Coltrane Jazz Festival. Vendors selected for participation will be notified separately and their payment will be processed auotmatically upon acceptance.
  • RFID System: I agree to use the POS (Point of Sales) and RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) system provided by the Friends of John Coltrane to process all transactions and to track all my sales made during the event. Each festival attendee will be issued an RFID tag, which they will use to make purchases at my vending booth. The POS also accepts payment cards and tap-for-payment systems such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. You agree not to accept cash payments at the Festival. I understand that I will be responsible for ensuring that all sales are accurately recorded using the POS system and no sales are made outside of this system. All promotions of other sales channels such as Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, or others on your setup must be covered or removed. I understand that there will be an onsite person available for technical support for the system. It will be my responsibility to notify the technical support team of any issues that arise with the system during the event
  • Vendor Fee and Commission: I understand that my payment card will be charged a non-refundable fee of $500 upon acceptance as a vendor. If selected, The Friends of John Coltrane will have access to the POS system to track all my sales made during the event. The Friends of John Coltrane will pay me the total sales amount minus a 10% commission within 10 business days after the event. The commission shall be calculated based on the total amount collected
