Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at A Dickens Holiday 2025! A Dickens Holiday will take place November 28, 2025 from 12:00pm - 9:00pm.

 

This is the application for FOOD TRUCK/TRAILER VENDORS. If you are not a FOOD TRUCK/TRAILER VENDOR, please return to the event application page to complete the correct vendor application. Failure to complete the correct vendor application may result in a denial.

 

WHO ARE FOOD TRUCK/TRAILER VENDORS?

Vendors who cook and serve food from a truck/trailer/table. If you cook or prepare food or drink onsite you are a in this category.

Notifications Sent: By November 1, 2025

Booth Fees: Collected only upon acceptance

Vendor Supplies: All vendors must bring their own tent, tables, and chairs.

 

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY OCTOBER 22, 2025 AT 11:59PM -- APPLICATION DECISIONS WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY NOVEMBER 1ST for those who filed timely. If you apply after October 22nd, you will be on a waiting list - but we still encourage you to apply as a slot may open.

 

 Please note the following information:
- Vendors will be notified via email of the decision.
- All decisions are made by the Vendor Committee.
- Upon approval, accepted vendors will be charged per the same payment type as listed during the application fee process. Expect a payment to process at the moment approval comes through.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR FOOD VENDORS
- Food Vendor spaces are designated for those who will be preparing food on-site and selling to patrons/festival-goers.
- Food Vendors should be prepared to serve a high volume of people.
- Food Vendors must abide by NC Health guidelines and will be inspected prior to opening. For more information, contact the Cumberland County Health Department at 910−433−3660.
- Food Vendors are subject to Fire Marshall regulations.
- Be free of grease splashes, spills, and/or any grease containers. Grease disposal and clean-up is the responsibility of the Food Vendor - subject to a fee if this occurs.
- Be free of trash or any other items on the ground. Trash must be disposed of properly in the appropriate trash can.

 

This is an electronic agreement. By submitting your application, you confirm you’ve read and agreed to the attached Terms & Conditions and Vendor Handbook.

Welcome to “A Dickens Holiday” 2025! Join us for our 26th annual celebration of Victorian charm and holiday tradition in historic Downtown Fayetteville, NC. Vendors, actors, and musicians transform Franklin Street into a scene from A Christmas Carol—complete with Queen Victoria, Ebenezer Scrooge, and a host of Christmas spirits. 🗓 Date: Friday, November 28, 2025 📍 Location: Downtown Fayetteville, NC 🕛 Event Hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM 🎟 Admission: Free to attend; select activities may require a fee. 🍷 Note: Downtown is a designated Social District. Alcohol is permitted outdoors in marked areas. Footprint: Expanded this year, with street closures from Green St, Hay Street, Maxwell, Gillespie and Franklin Streets Highlights: Street Performers: Reenactors dressed as Ebenezer Scrooge, Queen Victoria, and other characters from Dickens’ world and including Father Christmas Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides: Explore the historic streets in style. Live Music: on street roving performances by talented musicians. Handmade Crafts and Food Vendors: Discover unique gifts and delicious treats. Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By applying to and participating in A Dickens Holiday, you agree to the following:

  1. Application Process

  • Submission does not guarantee acceptance. All vendors are juried by the Vendor Committee.

  • Applications missing required photos or complete information will be declined.

  • No email or paper applications will be accepted.

  • You may not alter your application after the deadline unless requested by the Committee.

Fees & Refunds

  • A $10.00 non-refundable application fee is required. 

  • Booth fees will only be charged after acceptance.

  • No refunds unless the event is officially canceled.

  • This is a rain-or-shine event.

General Requirements

  • Vendors must provide a valid NC Sales & Use Tax ID.

  • Vendors must carry general liability insurance (minimum $1M) and list the Downtown Alliance and the City of Fayetteville as additional insureds. You may select any carrier you choose and only need a policy that covers the day of the event. There is an option to use VI Coverage through the Eventeny application. You may choose others such as THIMBLE or ACT Insurance - who offer less than 24 hour coverage while you are at the event as is very affordable.   • Vendors are encouraged decorate and dress in keeping with the event’s Victorian holiday theme.

  • There will be prizes for best booth!

Set-Up & Operations

  • Load-in: Friday, Nov. 28, between 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Booth size: 10’ x 10’. You must bring your own tent, weights, table, and chairs.

  • You must remain within your assigned footprint. No sales outside of booth space.

  • All merchandise must be handmade or hand-curated, as approved during the jury process.

  • No reselling or mass-produced items allowed. 

  • You will only sell items listed on your application and have been approved by the Vendor Committee. The Committee reserves the right to ask you to remove items that were not approved. 

Conduct & Safety

  • No hawking, peddling, or amplified music.

  • No early departure without written approval from the Committee Chair.

  • No vehicles allowed in the footprint during event hours.

  • Noncompliance may result in removal from the event without refund.

Vendor Agreement

  • By submitting this application, you agree to abide by all guidelines in the Vendor Handbook and Eventeny listing.

You release and indemnify the Downtown Alliance, the City of Fayetteville, and event sponsors from all liability arising from your participation.

Prices

Food Truck or Trailer Rental Space $375.00 Non-refundable Most food truck and trailers will be designated in a food court area that is located at Green and Gillespie Street venue sites and on Maxwell and Franklin streets. Exceptions may occur depending on the need of the event. Event managers may open more than one food court area as the event requires.
