Macon Pride Policies
- NO BOOTH RENTALS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE DAY OF THE FESTIVAL
- You are not approved for a booth until you receive confirmation from Macon Pride, Inc. and have been given further instructions.
- There will be no rain date. Refunds will only be given if the entire event is cancelled.
- Vendor/Exhibitor booth locations will be determined in advance. Locations will be communicated no later than Thursday prior to the festival, via email.
- There is NO exclusivity of Vendors guaranteed by Macon Pride, Inc.
- Booth spaces will be approximately 10x10. (Sponsors organizations may be allotted larger spaces based on sponsorship level.)
- Macon Pride, Inc.may, for publicity purposes, use any photographs, videos or information received or obtained regarding the Vendors/Exhibitors without further permission from such Vendors/Exhibitors.
Event Specific Information
- Macon Pride Festival is open to the public on Saturday, September 27th from 2-9pm.
- Arrival & Check-in begins at Noon.
- Load-in vehicles must be moved from Festival Grounds immediately after unloading, or by 1 PM.
- Festival Starts at 2 PM.
- Festival Ends at 9 PM.
- Booths must be removed by 10 PM.
(1) General Rules for Vendors/Exhibitors
- Vendors/Exhibitors must provide their own water, electricity, tables and chairs.
- Vendors/Exhibitors must make their own arrangements for transport of their products, equipment, etc. to and from their booth space.
- Vendors/Exhibitors must take full responsibility for set-up and other display materials.
- Vendors/Exhibitors must keep all displays, merchandise, etc. within the confines of their assigned space.
- Vendors/Exhibitors must maintain a neat and clean area, and provide refuse bags to condense and secure all waste produced by the booth. All waste produced by a Vendor/Exhibitor must be taken off premises for disposal by the Vendor/Exhibitor.
- Vendors/Exhibitors may not hawk, peddle, sell, or advertise outside their assigned area.
- Vendors/Exhibitors may not distribute literature or other items to passers-by while standing outside of their assigned area.
- Exhibitors may not have music or conduct activities that may be disruptive to neighboring Vendors/Exhibitors, passersby, or Macon Pride, Inc. Macon Pride, Inc. reserves the right to make such determinations and any Vendor/Exhibitor who fails to immediately halt any such activity upon request will be asked to pack and leave immediately.
- Vendors may not sell any food or beverages without Macon Pride, Inc. approval and proper permits. SEE SEPARATE FOOD VENDOR APPLICATION.
- Vendors/Exhibitors must operate their business in a professional manner. At the discretion of Macon Pride, Inc. any Vendors/Exhibitors, or any agent, or employee of the Vendors/Exhibitors, who do not conduct themselves in a professional manner and according to the policies contained herein, may be removed from the festival.
- Macon Pride, Inc. reserves the right to remove any objectionable merchandise from any booth. NO merchandise shall be displayed or sold with the name “Macon Pride” in any form unless authorized via a Macon Pride Logo Usage Agreement.
- Vendors/Exhibitors that are using an electric generator or any other motor must soundproof that device to the satisfaction of the Macon Pride, Inc.
(2) Permits/Certificates:
- Vendors/Exhibitors are solely responsible for collecting and paying all Georgia/Bibb County sales taxes on any items for sale within their booth.
- Vendors/Exhibitors are responsible for obtaining and displaying festival permits, as required, and operating within any local, state, or federal guidelines, ordinances or laws.
(3) Liability:
- Vendors are solely liable for equipment (installation, operation, and tear down), and any other personal property at the festival. Vendor represents it has insurance coverage for said items to cover loss due to vandalism, theft, or any other casualty. Security is provided at specific designated times; however, any losses due to fire, theft, damage, or injury is the sole responsibility of the Vendor. It is specifically agreed that Macon Pride, Inc. and their agents shall be held harmless by the Vendor for any claim of theft, vandalism, casualty, or loss regardless of the cause of same.
- The Vendor shall defend, indemnify, and save harmless Macon Pride, Inc, and their agents, from and against all claims, damages, losses and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of, or in consequence of, any negligent, reckless or intentional act or omission of the Vendor and/or the Vendor's employees or agents.
By submitting this application, I understand and agree to abide by the above policies and procedures. Upon acceptance of my application, this form will be binding and will represent the terms of the permit agreement.
