Some FAQs:1) Can I hook up to power? = No, silent generators are required. 2) What kind of permits are required? = Department of Agriculture Food License 3) Internet connectivity?= No Wifi, bring your "hotspot".4) Where will the event be held? = Along Trilith Parkway and at the cross street of Morrison Ave.5) How many visitors do you anticipate having this year at the event? = We anticipate 1,500-2,500 guests throughout the event.6) Who attends the event? = EVERYONE! We'll have families, creatives, business people, dreamers, artists, activists... people working in the area, people living in the area, This event will draw from Atlanta and the Fayette County area.
7) Why is there a fee to participate? = This small cost covers our team's set-up/break down cost for the event. Please note: If your organization is a 501C3 charity, contact us and we can discuss waiving the charge.

About the event

The Town at Trilith’s Makers & Music Festival returns October 4th with live music, interactive art, curated vendors, global flavors and family fun. The weekend kicks off Friday, October 3rd with a lively Oktoberfest celebration at Trilith Guesthouse, followed by a full Saturday lineup featuring glass-blowing, chalk art, children’s activities, hands-on demos and more than 30 vendors. Guests can stop by a one-of-a-kind photo op created by multimedia artist Grey Tyrrell, and watch Holly Cellini of It’s a Porch Thing showcase unique Trilith Fall creations. The highlight of the festival is a Saturday night performance by Departure, the ultimate Journey tribute band, on the Butler Lexus Main Stage. Admission is free and open to all ages. There will be a glassblower creating their works of art at 2100 degrees Fahrenheit. They will work the shape of the molten material to convey their vision. This is exciting and mesmerizing to watch from start to finish. No two artworks are exactly alike. *glass pumpkin patch for purchasing glass blown pumpkins will be available* Junction Playhouse performances: 4:00, 5:00, & 6:00 p.m. 3D Chalk Artist by the Trilith Guesthouse by Ever Galvez Confetti & Canvases Art Studio with an interactive art experience STEAM experience by Georgia Exploreum Team creating a wind tunnel Valerie Costanza with mind.body.clay pottery demo Scholar & Scribe Bookshop will debut its new Audiobook Walking Club at the Makers & Music festival. Participants will gather in front of the shop at 3 p.m., download and begin listening to the same audiobook (purchased through the bookshop’s Libro.fm storefront), and take a 30–45 minute walk around Trilith—passing the lake, Piedmont Wellness Center, and Trilith Live—before returning to the shop for refreshments and fellowship. Designed to feel like a running club with a literary twist, the walk invites book lovers to listen together, connect with one another, and share in the joy of community. Listeners will have the option to continue with weekly group walks or listen at their own pace and join for a monthly end-of-book discussion. Visit to learn more.

Terms & Conditions

Here's how the application/approval process works:
1) Submit your application. Application must have your Fayette County DPH permit attached. 
2) The Makers and Music committee will review applications..
3) You will receive an email from the Makers and Music committee with your approval and additional details.
4) Within the approval application email you will have a link to reserve your space.  You MUST follow this link to request your space. 
5) You will receive an email confirming your booth assignment.  
6) A week or two prior to the event you will receive "Day of Show" instructions  (set-up times, break-down time, etc.)
