We welcome you back to the 2nd Annual Long Island Public Arts Festival!
Produced by Babylon Arts Council & Colored Colors
Supported by Suffolk County Office of Cultural Affairs & Town of Babylon
About Our Festival: The Long Island Public Arts Festival (LIPAF) is an immersive public arts exhibition held at Phelps Lane Park in the Town of Babylon, welcoming artists from across New York State. LIPAF showcases over 50 diverse artworks displayed within striking life-size prisms thoughtfully placed throughout the park’s landscape. Visitors are invited to explore these installations, encouraging a fully immersive art experience. This year’s festival is expertly curated by BACCA and Colored Colors, made possible in part by a generous grant from the Suffolk County Office of Cultural Affairs (SCOCA) and Town of Babylon.
Our mission is twofold: to provide an accessible and engaging arts festival for our community and to create new opportunities for talented local artists. The festival champions inclusivity, embracing both a diverse range of artists and a wide spectrum of artistic mediums. We aspire to expand this festival to feature more life-size prisms and offer expanded summer-long arts programming to further enrich our community through artistic engagement. The Long Island Public Arts Festival will continue to serve as a platform for innovative approaches to community engagement through arts and culture.
