About the application

Generators permitted

Trucks or trailers or large tent. 

Preference is going to be given to food trucks and vendors that are farm-to-table, organic, and/or healthy. 


SCHEDULE:
Set up Thursday, Nov. 6, between 8am-4pm. 

We will do our best to secure the area, but require and encourage that all items are secured and locked when not in use.

 

Friday, November 7 through Sunday, November 9, 2025

Vendors must arrive for 7am, after that time, trucks will not be admitted. If you sell out, you can unload and leave preferably.

Each food truck will make its own selling schedule. 

Please ensure proper posting of your schedule and menu outside your truck.

ADDITIONAL INFO :
As a vendor at The Homestead Festival you acknowledge the following:
All fees are non-refundable as they are used to market the event
No water hookups will be available. LIMITED electricity will be available. Please plan ahead. NO generators except in food court.
Vendors to be fully set up by 7am on Friday and are expected to attend all day Friday and Saturday.
Vendors are responsible for leaving the area in the same condition as they found it after the event. Failure to do so may result in a cleaning fee.
The vendor fee allows me to stay and watch both evenings’ entertainment.
Not every vendor will be chosen to participate. If chosen vendors forfeit their spot or withdraw their application, backup vendors may be contacted to participate.

Terms & Conditions

**Florida Pioneer Festival

Food Truck Vendor Terms and Conditions**
Applies to all food trucks and mobile food vendors at the 2025 event

1. Event Details
  • Event Dates: November 7–8, 2025

  • Location: Pioneer Park, Zolfo Springs, Florida

  • Setup Time: Friday, Nov 7 – 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM

  • Operating Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily

  • Vendors must be present and open for the full duration of event hours.

2. Eligibility & Application
  • All food vendors must submit a complete application and be approved by festival organizers.

  • Only two vendors will be approved per category (BBQ, tacos, coffee, etc.) to ensure variety.

  • Submission does not guarantee acceptance.

3. Licensing & Permits

All approved food trucks must:

  • Be licensed by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR)

  • Hold a current Mobile Food Dispensing Vehicle (MFDV) license

  • Carry a valid food handler’s certificate for all employees

  • Meet Hardee County health and safety standards

  • Display all required permits prominently on-site

Out-of-county vendors must ensure licensing is recognized in Florida.

4. Insurance

Vendors must carry:

  • General Liability Insurance with minimum coverage of $1 million per occurrence

  • Florida Pioneer Festival, Hardee County, and Pioneer Park must be listed as additional insured

Proof of insurance must be submitted no later than 14 days before the event.

5. Fees & Refund Policy
  • Vendor fees must be paid in full before acceptance is finalized.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows.

  • In the event of cancellation by the organizers, fees may be refunded at their discretion.

6. Power, Water & Waste
  • Generators must be quiet, clean-running, and approved in advance.

  • Limited power access may be available—must be requested at time of application.

  • Water hookups are not guaranteed.

  • Vendors must supply their own gray water tanks, waste disposal containers, and must leave their area clean.

7. Menu & Conduct
  • All food must be family-friendly and suitable for an outdoor, community event.

  • Vendors may only sell menu items approved in advance—no unauthorized items or subleasing.

  • Prices must be posted visibly.

  • Absolutely no alcohol, drugs, or inappropriate signage, music, or messaging permitted.

8. Sales Tax & Compliance
  • Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting Florida state sales tax.

  • You must comply with all Florida Department of Revenue regulations and provide a valid sales tax ID if requested.

9. Liability & Indemnity
  • Vendors are solely responsible for the safety of their food, staff, and operations.

  • Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Florida Pioneer Festival, Pioneer Park, its organizers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation.

  • The festival is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment.

10. Weather & Force Majeure
  • The event is rain or shine.

  • No refunds will be issued for inclement weather, natural disasters, or any force majeure events.

  • Vendors must be prepared to operate in all conditions.

11. Media Release

By participating, vendors grant the festival permission to photograph or film their truck, food, or team for promotional use.

 

12. Acknowledgment

By applying and submitting payment, vendors agree to abide by these terms and conditions in full.
