Performance Application - Kid's Park Bandshell Stage

Calling All Local Performers! The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District is seeking talented local performers and demonstration groups to take the stage at the Kid's Park bandshell during the Village Park & Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center Grand Opening Family Festival.

To be considered, please complete and submit the full application form no later than June 1, 2025. Applications will be accepted after this date as space allows. Preference will first be given to groups based in Fair Oaks. All performances must be family-friendly. Please note that no compensation will be provided for performers or demonstration groups.

Performance times will range from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2025. While we will do our best to accommodate your group’s needs, final performance times and details will be determined by FORPD based on the event schedule.

Applicants will be notified after the June 1st deadline. Be sure to read all terms and conditions carefully before applying.

PLEASE NOTE: The date of the Grand Opening is pending construction completion. In the event the project is delayed and the opening is impacted, you will be notified.

Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District will equip the performance stage with a portable sound system, four standing speakers (compatible with current iPhones/iPods, and has an AUX cord for other devices), two microphones, and two microphone stands. Any additional equipment beyond what is provided must be brought, set up, and removed by you or your group. Additional amplifiers are not permitted to be plugged into the provided sound system. Electrical outlets are available within 10 feet of the stage; however, access is limited, so bringing a surge protector and extension cords is highly recommended. Please note that props and equipment may not be left on stage, as performances will rotate throughout the event. Performances will take place on the bandshell, which has a concrete surface.
