About the application

Priority of acceptance to the NHSW is given to 2025 Returning Vendors, however as the space gaurantee expired on 1 October 2025, previous space assignment is no longer assured. New vendors MUST submit photos of the goods you plan to sell. Ideally, a photo of your booth display from another festival would be included. Camping on-site is available.

New Hampshire Sheep and Wool is a family event providing education and vendors about shepherding and the fiber arts at Deerfield Fairgrounds in Deerfield NH.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Vendors are expected to read and be familiar with these rules and expectations. Vendors who do not comply with the expectations put forth in these terms and conditions risk exclusion in subsequent Festivals.

  2. Your company is approved to sell items as outlined in the application. Should you wish to add additional items, please email vendorchair@nhswga.org.

  3. Booth spaces are assigned and will be marked by numbers and names. Vendors are responsible for supplying tables, chairs, and whatever else is needed for their displays, including electrical cords if electricity is available and needed. Tents will be allowed but must fit within the designated booth space.

  4. One vendor company per space unless approved in the original application.

  5. Vendors are required to have liability insurance.

  6. New Hampshire Sheep and Wool Growers’ Association, the NHSWGA Festival Committee, and Deerfield Fairgrounds assume no responsibility for loss or damage/injury to any work, display, or person.

  7. Booths are required to remain open on Saturday from 9am until 5pm and on Sunday from 9am until 4pm. A vendor who dismantles or leaves before the festival ends either day will not be accepted back the following year.

  8. No vehicles are permitted to move on the fairgrounds Saturday from 8:30am to 5:30pm and Sunday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

  9. Vendors may arrive to set up Friday, May 8th. An email will be sent with set up times for Friday. Vendors and animals may arrive and set up Saturday morning, May 10th 6:00 am until 8:30 am.
  10. All vendors must be off the grounds by 7pm on Sunday. Vendors are expected to clean their booth spaces. Please remove all items you brought in, your trash, etc
  11. Deerfield Fairgrounds provides WIFI service on the fairgrounds. This may be intermittent, and vendors should have a backup plan in case it is not working or working slowly. The NHSWGA Festival Committee does not have any control over this service.
  12. *** BREED DISPLAY *** Vendors must provide their own bedding and clean their pens at the end of the festival. All sheep will be vet checked at the Festival before being unloaded to be penned in the barn displays. The vet will be on the grounds until 5pm Friday and Saturday morning. 

     

    New Hampshire Sheep must have permanent identification. All sheep must originate from a non-quarantined flock and animals must not have been exposed to scrapie, scabies or any other contagious or infectious disease, and shall not be the direct progeny (first generation) of any animal diagnosed as having scrapie. Sheep must have a Scrapie's tag in its ear.

     

    Out of State Sheep must have a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection and permanent identification. All sheep must originate from an inspected, non-quarantined flock; the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection shall state that the animals have not been exposed to scrapie, scabies or any other contagious or infectious disease; and the animal shall not be the progeny of a sire or dam that was infected with scrapie. Sheep must have a Scrapies tag in its ear. 

     

    All fiber animals must stay in designated pens and be monitored by their owners.

  13. No dogs will be allowed on the grounds except Service Dogs and dogs registered with the Festival Committee.

  14. In the event that a vendor cancels or is otherwise unable to attend the festival, it is the vendor’s responsibility to notify the vendor committee in writing. Please send notifications to vendorchair@nhswga.org. Cancellation 30 days or closer to the festival date will result in forfeiture of all paid fees. Failure to notify the committee of cancellation jeopardizes participation in future events. 
  15. The Festival Committee reserves the right to reject any vendor who disregards these rules, who does not treat everyone with courtesy, or who carries/sells items from their booth not listed on their application.

  16. The Festival Committee, whose decision will be final, shall decide disputes arising from any cause.

  17. Booth locations will be emailed at a later date.
  18. Camping spaces may be purchased at a later date ($40 per night with electricity). No showers are available.
