Come out and celebrate our nation’s Independence with the annual City of LaFayette Freedom Festival! One way our community comes together is in the fact that we are proud to “Bee” Americans and every Fourth of July Holiday, we celebrate our independence with the annual community wide Freedom Festival. The City of LaFayette hosts the annual Freedom Festival on the Friday prior to July 4th at the Ross Abney Facility. The location is 252 1st Street. The festival begins at 5 p.m. It’s an evening filled with live music from some of the best local musicians in the area, various events and a multitude of vendors. Our Freedom Festival events include various activities for all to enjoy. Our vendors offer everything from BBQ sandwiches to balloon animals, so there is something for everyone. The evening is capped off with a state-of-the-art Fireworks show at 10 p.m. You’ll see the night sky light up with one of the best fireworks displays in the area. It’s always a great family experience and admission is always free. Come and celebrate Independence Day with us!

Terms & Conditions

All food vendors are responsible for proper permits and health standards. Vendors must provide their own electrical cords, tables and chairs. NO glass containers or alcoholic beverages. If a product is in question, contact the Recreation Department. Products such as Silly String or Confetti cannot be sold or provided due to the littering in the park. NO GENERATORS ALLOWED. Fee is due with registration form. No exceptions. You must cancel 48 hours in advance to receive a refund. All vendors must check in before setting up.
