Welcome to the event! Browse through our applications and let us know if you have any questions. This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically. 

Artist Alley at comic conventions is a treasure trove of creativity, and vendors sell a wide range of handmade and artistic products. Here’s a breakdown of popular categories and examples of handmade items a vendor could sell (but are not limited to):

• Original art prints (fan art or original characters)

• Mini prints and postcard art

• Holographic or foil prints

• Sketchbooks or zines

• Stickers (die-cut, holographic, weatherproof, etc.)

• Washi tape with custom designs

• Notepads, memo pads, and sticky notes

• Journals or sketchbooks with original covers

• Self-published comics and graphic novels

• Art zines or fandom mini-books

• Short story collections

• Coloring books

• Buttons/pins (hard enamel, soft enamel, acrylic)

• Keychains and charms (acrylic, resin, wood, etc.)

• Magnets

• Lanyards

• T-shirts and hoodies with original designs

• Hand-sewn cosplay accessories

• Hand-painted or customized jackets/shoes

• Hats, beanies, or embroidered patches

• Tote bags with custom illustrations

• Pencil cases and zipper pouches

• Messenger bags with fandom or original art

• Handmade plushies or amigurumi

• Polymer clay figurines or charms

• Resin crafts (jewelry, trays, dice, etc.)

• 3D-printed items with custom paint jobs

• Fandom-inspired earrings, necklaces, and rings

• Cosplay jewelry

• Chokers or arm cuffs

• Hair clips and scrunchies with themed prints

• Handmade candles with fandom themes

• Painted coasters or mugs

• Small wall scrolls or hanging art

• Custom 3D printed or wood-burned decor

• “In-universe” items (spellbooks, potion bottles, maps)

• Replica props (small-scale, handmade)

• Character-themed mystery boxes

• Crossover or mashup art/merch

Chaoticon 2025 – Artist Alley Terms and Conditions

By applying for a space in Artist Alley at Chaoticon 2025 (September 13–14, 2025), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility & Products

• Artist Alley is reserved for artists, authors, and creators selling handmade, original, or self-created items (e.g., art prints, comics, books, stickers, crafts, etc.).

• Fan art is permitted but must adhere to fair use and copyright laws.

• Reselling mass-produced items, bootlegs, or unlicensed merch is strictly prohibited.

2. Booth Details

• Artist Alley spaces measure 8x5 ft and cost $250.

• Each space includes (1) table and (2) chairs.

• Corner booths may be available for an additional $50, based on availability.

• Electricity is not guaranteed. If needed, you must contact the event team in advance to discuss options.

3. Additional Badges

• Up to two (2) additional artist badges may be purchased per table.

• Friday (9/12): Setup from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

• Saturday (9/13): Final setup/restock from 8:30 – 10:30 AM

• Sunday (9/14): Restock allowed 8:30 – 10:30 AM

• No teardown is allowed before 4:30 PM Sunday. All vendors must vacate by 10:00 PM Sunday night.

• Overnight security will be present throughout the weekend.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Chaoticon has a no refund policy.

• In exceptional cases, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

• Refund requests must be submitted via email to chaoticempire@outlook.com.

• Approved refunds will incur a $40 fee per table and $10 per additional badge.

• No refunds will be processed after August 1, 2025.

• Table transfers are not allowed. If you cannot attend, your space will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.

6. Code of Conduct

• All vendors are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward attendees, staff, and fellow artists.

• Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

• Cosplay is not consent—vendors are expected to follow all safety and conduct guidelines outlined in the event handbook.

• Chaoticon reserves the right to remove any vendor or artist from the event, without refund, for violating policies or engaging in behavior that disrupts the event or compromises the safety and comfort of others.

7. Liability

• Chaoticon, its staff, and venue partners are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property, or for any injuries that occur during the event.

• All vendors participate at their own risk and are encouraged to carry their own insurance coverage.

By submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
