Memphis Comic Expo Vendor Application

Applications are now open for artists and vendors interested in joining Memphis Comic Expo 2025!  We’re looking forward to an exciting, diverse lineup of creators, makers, and sellers to bring the show floor to life.  Space is limited and all applications will be juried, so be sure to fill out every field carefully for full consideration.  Whether you’re a returning favorite or a first-time participant, we can’t wait to see what you bring to the table—literally!

We appreciate your interest in purchasing space at MCX25.  This form is an application for MCX25 only and will be discarded on September 15, 2025.  In our continuing effort to maintain a diverse and exciting lineup of vendors and creators, we jury each applicant before offering a space for purchase.  No guarantees are made in regard to space as a dealer at MCX25.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Requests are juried, and applicants will be notified within 45 days of submission.

Memphis Comic Expo cannot guarantee that all requested accommodations can or will be granted.

Only one applicant per application.  Each applicant must apply individually.

Applications that are not accepted will be placed on a waitlist, or they will be declined and removed from the list.

Applications that do not provide information on what they create or intend to sell may not be considered and may be discarded.

All interior table backdrops and displays cannot extend beyond the edges of your space.  Failure to comply may result in the loss of your space without a refund.

You may not sublet or share your space without prior approval from the Memphis Comic Expo.  Failure to comply may result in the loss of your space without a refund.

Artist Alley Eligibility
Corporations or businesses with more than three (3) employees are ineligible to purchase tables in Artist Alley. Such organizations must purchase a Dealer Booth to be considered as a vendor at MCX.

Applicants must comply with, and are bound by, all laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations of Shelby County and Memphis, TN and the Memphis Sports and Events Center.

In order to ensure attendee satisfaction, all artists, dealers, vendors, and exhibitors will remain set up in their space during the hours of operation unless previously agreed upon otherwise with Memphis Comic Expo.  Failure to comply may result in financial penalty.

ELECTRICITY AND INTERNET: Advanced rates for access to an electrical setup are $65, and internet access is $60.  You will be able to select this option in your application.  You must provide any hookups and cords you require to power your space; purchasing an electrical setup is for access only.  Specific internet connectivity speeds are not guaranteed.

CANCELLATIONS: Please note that all vendor fees are non-refundable 30 days after your application has been accepted or within 45 days of the event dates, whichever comes first. Due to the scale of the show and the need to finalize floor plans and placements well in advance, this policy helps ensure minimal disruption for both our event planners and fellow vendors. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and organized experience for everyone involved.

SECURITY: Memphis Comic Expo will provide overnight security in the venue, and no one outside of official Memphis Comic Expo staff will be permitted on the show floor outside of operational hours and once the show has closed for the evening.  All necessities, cash, and personal affects must be taken off-site when exiting after the show closes each evening.  No admittance will be allowed to the show floor once it has closed.

PRODUCT SUBJECT MATTER: MCX25 is an event for people of all ages.  Please use your best judgment regarding subject matter.  MCX25 reserves the right to ask that any artwork, products, or merchandise deemed inappropriate be removed from sight.  Failure to comply may result in a financial penalty or loss of your space without refund.

AI ARTWORK:  AI-generated artwork of any kind is strictly prohibited in the vendor space at Memphis Comic Expo.  This includes all merchandise, prints, and items being sold, displayed, or promoted by any vendor.  Vendors found to be in violation of this policy will be immediately ejected from the Expo without a refund, and their applications for future shows will not be considered.

The training and use of AI models present significant ethical and moral concerns, and Memphis Comic Expo cannot and will not ignore these issues.  This policy exists to protect and safeguard our creative community, ensuring that all work featured at the Expo is created by human artists and makers.
